Dear members of the Cranbourne Primary School Community. We have arrived at the end of Term 3. The two week holiday period begins for all students on Monday. We wish all our families a safe and enjoyable holiday period. Please remember to respect social distancing and follow the restrictions in place under Stage 4. Stay informed over the next two weeks by viewing the daily COVID updates on TV (they usually stream around 11.00 am) Please also be aware that a recent ‘cluster’ outbreak in Casey has been identified and pop up testing stations have been established. Staying COVID-19 Safe in our community Thank you for staying home. Every day we are getting closer to less
restrictions. We know it’s been hard for everyone.
Until we get there, you need to keep staying at home and being safe.
Cases in the City of Casey have increased and that's not good.
We need to help keep the situation under control so we can get to Stage 2 as soon as possible.
Testing is safe, quick, free and available at many sites , for locations go to the DHHS website: www.dhhs.vic.gov.au
If you or your family will struggle to get to a testing clinic, you may be able to call and get a test at home. Visit the DHHS website or call the Coronavirus hotline on 1800 675 398.
If you are at risk you must get tested. If you have symptoms, you must get tested.
Getting tested helps protect your family, your friends and your community. It will also help us get to Stage 2 more quickly
Remote Learning is coming to an end for our Foundation, Grade 1 and Grade 2 students, who are scheduled to resume their ‘on site’ learning in week 2 of Term 4. Student well being will be the focus of term 4. As we support the staged transition back to on site learning, we will be supporting students to build their learning endurance and concentration. To support this we have developed a staged plan—details are located on page 2 of this newsletter. Families will receive this information in writing via postal within the next two weeks. We wish all our families a safe and enjoyable holiday period. Cheryl Van Deursen. Principal . Cranbourne Primary School.

In the Junior School we have been travelling around the world (virtually) – sharing my view of the world from my experiences. Egypt, Jordan, UAE, parts of Europe, the UK and America. We will bring it all together by looking at some of the countries our EAL students originate from. Here are some responses from the students.
