(1) [# 1An person who manufactures0 sells or hires or offers for sale or hire0 [or

eposes or has in his possession for the purpose of sale or hire# 2or lends to

(a) an knife which has a lade which opens automaticall hand pressure

applied to a utton0 spring or other device in or attached to the handle of the

knife0 sometimes known as a flick knifeor flick gun5 or

() an knife which has a lade which is released from the handle or sheath

thereof the force of gravit or the application of centrifugal force and

which0 when released0 is locked in place means of a utton0 spring0 lever0

or other device0 sometimes known as a gravity knife,

shall e guilt of an offence and shall e liale on summar conviction to

imprisonment for a term not eceeding si months or to a fine not eceeding

[level 4 on the standard scale # 6or to oth such imprisonment and fine.

(2) The importation of an such knife as is descried in the foregoing susection

is here prohiited.
