RESTORING THE JOY

**Please excuse any grammatical errors. God told me to write this to you as fast as I could**

Hello Royal Girls of Girls of Royalty,

Do you know how God has you going in a certain direction and then all of a sudden, He

switches the script ? Well, He did it to me today while I was worshipping today during Sunday

Service. You see, last night, I had myself set on sending you all a Spiritual Warfare Packet. I had

outlined all my scriptures and was typing away last night at a 24 hour diner while eating waffles

and eggs. I’m a breakfast 24/7 type girl. I was set on sending out the packet tonight. God had

other plans.

When most ministries start up, they have a theme scripture. When Girls of Royalty started, I had

based this entire ministry off of Esther’s story and the fight within her to fulfill God’s purpose to

save her people. I believe that in any ministry or business, a shift occurs. Shifts happen at

different points for different reasons. God spoke to me while I was worshipping.

He said: “I’m RESTORING the JOY”

Look, I don’t know who needs to be reading this. However, God obviously wanted me to send

you this instead of this entire packet I had planned out. It’s for someone.

He didn’t want me to send out a packet. He wanted me to talk to you through the Word ofGod flowing inside of me to you. See, this is the Jesus in me that talking to the Jesus in YOU.

That’s the amazing thing about having Sisters in Christ. There’s a deeper level of

communication that can only come by knowing Jesus Christ. Can we talk ?

Joel 2:25-26

I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer,

and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you. “You shall eat in plenty and be

satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you. And

my people shall never again be put to shame.

I think that God is shifting Girls of Royalty to a different level. We’re moving to the level of

RESTORATION. We’re past the level of the “cute” stuff. I think God is about to move, shake,

and dig deep into us to remove all the things that kept us from moving forward. I can actually

feel the chains that are being loosed. This is just beyond talk. With the Weekly Bible Studies,

Prayer Nights, and Twitter Chats, we are serious about God moving. God is going to RESTORE

you back to the person He made you to be. He’s going to RESTORE you to being happy,

whole, and healed. You may already be at a happy state but God has even more beyond where

you are. Do you know that there are LEVELS to everything ? You can never get enough of

God’s abundance of this amazing thing called Life. Yes, it tries to beat us up sometimes.

Sometimes, it brings us down so low that we feel like we can no longer move on. Maybe, you

feel as if age has taken away your beauty or you can’t do things how you used to. Maybe, you

feel as if motherhood has taken a toll on you. Maybe, you’ve been emotionally hurt andabused so much that the old you is nothing more than a shadow.

God has declared through His Spirit that he is RESTORING you back to His love. I don’t care

what anyone has spoken out against your life. I don’t care if everything around is crumbling.

God has declared RESTORATION in your finances, your marriage, family, your career, job,

body, mind, spirit, and relationships. We are women of FAITH. Nothing can no longer steal our

joy. John 10:10 says that the enemy came to steal, kill, and destroy BUT Jesus came that we

may have LIFE and not just any kind of life. Jesus came so that we can have an ABUNDANT

LIFE. I’m tired of us walking in defeat. I’m tired of society telling us how we should walk and act

according to the perversion in their heart teaching us to be lust-filled, greedy, and selfishwomen. I’m tired of people telling me that I should seek fame in my own name and how I

should get to the top because of my own strength and my own abilities. I serve a MIGHTY God

who gave me breathe in my body and strength to fight against EVERY attack of the enemy. I

can do NOTHING by myself. It is only through the GRACE and MERCY of Jesus Christ that I

can even write this letter to you. It is only by His HEALING power that I can tell you that the

Genesis 2 years ago was so overcome by shame and hurt that she couldn’t even see her beauty

without depending on a man for love. It’s only by my God’s SAVING power that I can say that I

am no longer bound to my past addictions and struggles with porn, pride, selfish desires, and

lust-filled cravings.

God wants to restore you. He wants you to smile again. He wants you to spend time with him.

He wants to HEAL you from emotional and physical hurt. He wants you to be free to walk in

compete JOY. I remember when Girls of Royalty did a bible study focusing on Undaunted by

Christine Caine. I loved a part of the book where she said that there is a difference between

being Happy and having Joy. Happiness is an emotion. It comes and goes. Joy is something

that God gives. It is a state of BEING. You can dwell in JOY.

Joy is hearing that your loved one has died and YET you can smile because you know that the

Word of God says in Psalm 33:21: For our heart is glad in him, because we trust in his holy

name.

Joy is seeing the balance in your bank account and knowing there isn’t enough to pay the bills

YET you can smile because the Word of God says in Philippians 4:19: And my God will supply

every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Joy is knowing your body is in pain YET you can smile because the Word of God says in Isaiah

53:5: But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him

was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed.

Restoration comes by doing the following:

1) Giving God your ALL (Check in the Baggage)2) Relationship with God (Prayer, Reading His Word, Local Church)

3) Praying for Others

4) FAITH

#1: GIVING GOD YOUR ALL

Stop trying to do it ALL. You can’t. I don’t care how much of a “SUPERWOMAN” you are.

Being RESTORED starts through God’s loving power. I remember crying so many nights when I

was just hurt. Hurt by people, events, and circumstances. I was tired of crying myself to sleep. Iwould take aspirin pills because I was crying so much that my head was hurting. I opened up

my bible and read this scripture:

Matthew 11:28

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

#2: RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

After you give God your all, you need to spend time with Him. You have been saved all your

life or you may have just come to know Jesus Christ. It doesn’t matter where you are in yourspiritual journey, we all need Jesus. There is no way you can move through life with Jesus Christ

and have JOY. Don’t get me wrong, you can move on your own but it won’t be JOY. It will just

be happiness, the state of emotion. If you have been praying for a certain length everyday, try

kicking it up another notch.

a) Prayer

b) Reading your Bible & Devotion

c) Getting active in your local church

d) Letting the Holy Spirit guide you on an everyday basis

Matthew 6:33

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to

you.

1 Peter 2:2

Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation.

#3: PRAYING FOR OTHERS & LOVING OTHERS

There is something powerful about praying for other people even in the midst of your own

circumstance. It is often said that if you want God to answer your prayer, pray for someone

else. It does a very important thing-shifts your mindset from you to another person. You are

now displaying God’s love in operation in your life. Your own healing and restoration isconnected to how you treat and love others.

Job 42:10

And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job, when he had prayed for his friends. And the Lord

gave Job twice as much as he had before.

John 13:34

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you

also are to love one another.

#4: FAITH

Faith is the backbone of the Christian. Everything that we do is based upon our Faith in God.

Even LOVE is based in Faith. Faith is powerful because it will help you see your future and not

your present or past. It will help you move to where God desires you to be. Faith is seeing the

RESTORED you even though you may not see it at the current moment. Faith is what calls

things forth. Faith is me declaring myself “RESTORED”. Faith is declaring God’s Word even

when things around me say the opposite. Faith is saying what God has declared to be so.

Hebrews 11:1Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

Hebrews 11:6

But without faith it is impossible to please him:for he that cometh to God must believe that he

is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

We believe and receive RESTORATION in your life TODAY. If you ever feel like you need

prayer, stop keeping it to yourself. Confide in a Sister and have them pray with you. That’s why

at Girls of Royalty we have a prayer team ([email protected]). If you send them a prayer

request, they will agree with you and begin to intercede in FAITH on behalf of what you need

prayer for. We can’t leave each other to fight for ourselves. We have to fight together against

the enemy’s plans. He is DEFEATED. We’re going to take back our homes, our marriages, our

finances, our healing, and our JOY.

God IS RESTORING the JOY. I didn’t say “was” (past tense). He IS. He is CURRENTLY. He

is doing it RIGHT NOW. Just have FAITH & believe. WALK in your RESTORATION NOW.

Psalm 51:12 (David to God)

Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.

Isaiah 61:7

Instead of your shame there shall be a double portion; instead of dishonor they shall rejoice in

their lot; therefore in their land they shall possess a double portion; they shall have everlasting

joy.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give

you a future and a hope.

Isaiah 40:31But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like

eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

Ladies, we are women of Faith. We, by Faith, declare RESTORATION for every woman. I know

that God is able to do beyond what we can even dream of. If God can move mountains, part

the Red Sea, heal the blind man, raise a girl up from the dead, SURELY He can RESTORE me.
