SESSION ONE Simple  Implant  Dentistry-­‐    

Finding  your  right  implant  patients  Choice  of  treatment  options  Pricing  Paperwork  Working  with  your  lab  Crown  and  Bridge  Dentistry  V’s  Dental  Implants  Single  multiple  and  completely  edentulous  spaces    Treatment  planning  requirements  for  next  session.  what  is  involved  in  a  treatment  plan  for  patient.  Please  bring  your  nurse.  

Aim-­‐  Learn  to  identify  a  suitable  case  and  present  the  concept  to  patients,  learn  talk  money  with  confidence,  pricing  structure  and  the  features  and  benefits  of  treatment.    Each  delegate  then  has  2  months  to  find  your  ideal  patient  –  during  this  time  Ope  will  conduct  a  lunch  and  learn  with  your  team.     SESSION 2 Day  of  case  presentations            

Case  presentations  with  x-­‐rays  and  study  models  The  case  work-­‐up.  Treatment  planning  considerations  for  each  case  Mapping  exercises  and  surgical  preparations.  

 

Aim-­‐  Gain  an  understanding  of  the  whole  process  and  complete  a  treatment  plan.    Learn  how  each  individual  case  has  a  unique  approach  and  is  always  restorative  driven.    

SESSION 3 – Various times – patient dependent

Observing  live  surgery

See  live  surgery  of  cases    Learn  valuable  tips  to  enhance  your  restoration  techniques.    Aim-­‐  To  gain  an  understand  of  the  placement  and  surgical  aspects  of  implant  dentistry  and  how  it  is  intrinsic  to  the  restorative  phase.  

SESSION FOUR

Learning  how  to  restore  your  case    

Hands  –on  Restorative  Procedures  Abutment  selection  in  Implant  dentistry  Patient  Specific  Abutments  Cement  –retained  v’s  Screw  retained    Over  denture  techniques  Digital  Dentistry    Aim  -­‐  Following  this  session  delegate  will  be  able  to  restore  the  simple  Implant  case.    

SESSION FIVE

Final  case  Presentation  

Occlusion  in  Implant  dentistry  Prosthesis  Delivery  procedure  Implant  maintenance  program  Organise  further  training  and  team  events.

STAGED TRAINING

Duration  of  course  lasts  for  9  months  includes  24  hours  of  CPD  training  and  live  surgery.  

Sessions  are  delivered  at  the  optimum  time  and  at  a  steady  pace.

depend on the course lecturer being

Dr  Ope  Sodeinde    

Principal  Dentist,  London  Dental  Specialists  Specialist  in  Periodontics  

 Having  qualified  from  Manchester  University  Dental  School,  Ope  is  now  a  

registered  Specialist  in  Periodontics.  Through  his  6-­‐year  specialist  training,  he  

gained  two  Master’s  degrees  in  restorative  dentistry  (Newcastle  University)  and  

periodontics  (Kings  College  London,  Guys  Hospital)  and  now  restricts  his  practice  

to  periodontics,  prosthodontics,  aesthetic  and  implant  dentistry.    Ope  has  also  

been  involved  in  teaching  undergraduate  and  postgraduate  dentists  in  various  

dental  hospitals  and    including  The  Royal  College  of  Surgeons,  England.  Ope’s  

current  research  interests  lie  in  bone  and  gum  regeneration  with  autografts,  

allografts  and  xenografts  for  implant  surgery.  He  is  also  enjoys  mentoring  other  

dentists  in  implant  and  restorative  dentistry.

Fees

Course prices are listed per delegate and include all tuition fees, use of equipment and all course

materials. Light lunch is provided. Course prices are correct at time of going to press but may be subject

to increase.

Registration Policy

Registrations are taken on a first come, first serve basis. Registrations are not considered final until full

payment is received Your registration will be confirmed by mail/email within two weeks of receipt. ��� A

telephone or email reservation along with full payment £250 cheque received in the post or by BACS

you accept the terms & conditions of booking.

Cancellation Policy

In the event of cancellation * by a delegate, cancellation fees will be due as set out below: ���30 days or

more prior to course commencement, full refund of course fee���15 – 29 days prior to course

commencement 50% of course fee ���0 – 14 days prior to course commencement 100% of course fee ���. All

cancellations must be submitted in writing to London Dental Specialist ���. Substitute delegates will be

accepted at any time, subject to notification to \us.

Our Liability to You ���

Dr Ope Sodeinde reserve the right to cancel or postpone any course with up to 24 hours’ notice. In no event shall we be responsible to you for any loss of profit, loss of earnings, loss of anticipated savings, loss of revenue or loss of goodwill that you may suffer as the result of such postponement or cancellation of a course. Further, in no event shall we be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss that you may suffer. In the event of a course being postponed delegates may choose to either transfer their reservation to the new date or take a refund of course fees. Our maximum aggregate liability to you for any claim that you may have against us shall be limited to the amount of course fees as laid out in the cancellation policy.
