We have been very lucky to have a number of trips and activities already this term, and we are looking forward to having a cricket coach from Enfield Cricket Club coming in to school to teach All Stars cricket to our year 4s and 3s. Making a Mess in year 5 This week, Year 5 invited their buddy classes from year 2 to join them in their IPC lesson . The Year 5 children taught the year 2 children how to make a new material. Together the children made a polymer which is a solid and a liquid at the same time. They also played the molecule game. Why don't you have a try at home? Mix cornflour and water together and have fun!!!!! Visiting Latymer School. A group of 10 children from year 5 visited Latymer Secondary School to take part in a maths workshop. Accompanied by Mr Griffiths and Mrs Walsh, the children learnt about scatter graphs, mathematical games, problem solving and lesson starters. The children are now eager to transfer their new found skills to the rest of year 5.
