Today’s Focus

Today we continue our series on this amazing passage of Colossians as we continue to see Who Jesus IS! In this section, Paul doesn't describe what Jesus has done but instead, Who He IS.  And by learning more about His identity, we are drawn to worship.  Today we see that He is the Head of the church, the "first" from the dead, and the reconciler of the world.

Surviving the Holidays/Grief ShareThe holidays can be a difficult time for those who have lost a loved one. We are offering a class this Sunday, November 11 from 6 - 8 pm. The session will offer practical suggestions and support on how to prepare for this often difficult time of the year. If you would like to attend, join us in the Leviticus room.

A 1927 Fort Wayne Christmas [Dec. 7,8, & 9 from 6 - 9 pm] Join ECC at the Fort Wayne Women Club's for an evening of music, dance, story, song and laughter, all woven throughout a delectable 4-course holiday meal. Festive attire, with jackets suggested for gentlemen and dresses for the ladies. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased at the Event Center.

HaitiApril 26-May 4, 2013: A group from ECC will travel to Haiti and join Loving Shepherd Ministries to help continue building the LSM Ranch. For more information on this trip, please visit REACH Central. The deadline for joining this trip is December 23, 2013.

Bag The BusFor the first two weeks in December, ECC will be collecting non-perishable food items and gently used clothing to donate to A Hope Center, InAsMuch Ministries, and the Rescue Mission. Please bring your donations to the church these two weekends and place them in the bus that will be parked in front of the church. 

Operation Christmas ChildECC is collecting shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. November 11th, this weekend, is the deadline to have your shoeboxes turned in. You can bring your gift to REACH Central for drop off. Thank you for blessing a child not only with physical blessings, but also for sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with them!
