We want our children, parents and the entire community to know

the dangers of substance abuse and heroin use and how continued

use can ultimately take young lives. Our goal is to create awareness

and be a gateway to ALL agencies that provide support.

HOPE Sheds Light was started after the Rosetto family lost their

son Marc to a hard-fought battle against substance abuse and

heroin experimentation in 2012. When the Rosetto family was

going through this very difficult time, they struggled to find the

help they so desperately needed. Since the family and friends

of those with addiction problems often feel isolated, ashamed,

overwhelmed and hopeless, HOPE Sheds Light, Inc. was created

to provide direction, resources and hope toward recovery.

HOPE Sheds Light is supported by friends and families directly

affected by addiction, and is dedicated to helping others find

recovery through continuous love, support and understanding.

OUR MISSION

Marc Rosetto

The mission of HOPE

Sheds Light, Inc. is to

raise awareness and

educate individuals,

families and the

community about the

disease of addiction

and to provide hope

and resources towards

recovery.

Find HOPE. Shed LIGHT.

A Message of Appreciation from HOPE Sheds Light

HOPE Sheds Light would like to extend its gratitude to all those who have supported us throughout the year, including

the OceanFirst Foundation for its continued commitment to our growth and expansion of services.

These funds are essential for creating awareness and educating families on the disease of addiction. We are also

extremely grateful for the countless organizations, individuals and businesses that have hosted third party fundraisers/

events to benefit HOPE Sheds Light. Most recently, we would like to thank:

Crossroads Realty

Ocean County Chamber of Commerce

Ocean County Board of Realtors®

Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce

Cyclezone & Fitness Center

The JBJ Soul Foundation Soul Kitchen

Monmouth University

Toms River High School East

Ocean Mental Health Services

Finnigan’s Lanes

The Frank Columbo Farmers Insurance Agency

The Jersey Shore Council Boy Scouts of America

50 for 50 Birthday Benefit Bash in honor of Ann Marie Baker

We would also like to express our gratitude for the outpouring of love, donations and support we received in memory of

Arvo Prima’s son Paavo. As a result of these donations, HOPE Sheds Light is able to open a new Education and Training

Room in Paavo’s memory to show hope and recovery to the community.

Lastly, we would like to extend our sincerest appreciation to our two Corporate Sponsors, Causeway Ford and

The Hirair and Anna Hovnanian Foundation. As a result of your generous contributions to HOPE Sheds Light, we are

able to help further our mission to raise awareness and educate individuals, families and the community about the disease

of addiction and to provide hope and resources toward recovery.

HOPE Sheds Light is making a difference in our community and it is because of friends like you who show us your

unconditional support. If you are in the Toms River area, we invite you to stop by and visit our new home at 253 Chestnut

Street (located inside the House of HOPE). Thank you again to our family, friends, neighbors and supporters for standing

by HOPE Sheds Light as we continue to make strides in the community.
