Ben McDaniel, age 12 - “I made a comic
because I hate corporations and I LOVE wolves
(main character). So I thought that since
corporations destroy/kill wolves, I thought that it
would be funny to flip the idea. Nature would
fight back!!”

Xavier (X) Beech, age 9 - “This is a comic about
an eagle and a chief fighter pilot. The eagle is
trying to stop nuclear bomb testing in the
desert.”

Katy Schlemmer, age 10 - “My comic is about
the logging company destroying the forest and
the quails stopping them.”

Sofía Rosales Makela, age 11 - “This comic is
about the tar sands destroying the natural world
in Alberta, Canada. Two animals, a blue jay
and a squirrel, decide to try and stop it.”

Olivia Richbaugh, age 9 - “The barn owls are
angry at the loggers for destroying their home.”

Aedan Schapler, age 10 - “This comic is about
a panda that saves a bamboo forest. Pandas
are an endangered species that live in the high
mountains of China. There are some mistakes:
a) the first born has a nuclear-powered
hovercraft, b) the graphics aren’t the best I
could do.”
