Residential Irrigation Smart Controller Rebate Program
Want a good-looking lawn while saving money and water? Tired of seeing your irrigation system turn on during a rain storm? Update your irrigation system with a WaterSense smart controller and the City of Prior Lake will refund 75% of the purchase cost (up to $100). You could reduce your irrigation costs and water use by up to 30% and still have a beautiful green lawn! Application form and rebate guidelines provided on reverse.
What is WaterSense?WaterSense is an EPA program to certify appliances and irrigation system components for their water conservation performance. It’s intended to help you understand how your appliances use water (similar to the EnergyStar program for electricity). Look for the WaterSense logo when you shop for your new irrigation smart controller.

Irrigation controllers must be programmed to comply with the City's watering restriction ordinance.Rebate is 75% of the pre-tax purchase cost, up to a maximum $100 rebate.Each new item must be a WaterSense labeled product. Documentation must be provided with application.
Copies of an itemized invoice or receipts documenting the make and model of item are required. Failure to provide this information may result in disqualification.
The City reserves the right to inspect for proper installation.
The City is not responsible for product performance or water savings. No warranty or guarantee is provided.
The City has the right to discontinue or amend the rebate program at any time.
Rebate will be issued via check once all proper documentation has been submitted and approved by the City.
