The Institute is headed by Mr. Gihan Talgodapitiya, a Fellow Member of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK who holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the prestigious National University of Singapore (NUS). Mr. Talgodapitiya, a Commonwealth Fellow and an ILO Expert in Productivity Development is an internationally renowned Corporate Trainer who has served over 300 organisations in the Asian Region during the last 25 years. The HRMI ACADEMIC COUNCIL is Chaired by Professor Dayantha S Wijeyesekera, former Vice Chancellor of University of Moratuwa and Open University of Sri Lanka and present Chancellor, University of Vocational Technology. Professor Wijeyesekera earned his PhD from University of Edinburgh and was the Recipient of Honorary Doctorates from the Open University of UK (DUniv), Open University Sri Lanka (D.Litt.) & University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka (DSc). 5. STUDENT SUPPORT AND FACILITATION

Every student at HRMI is assigned with a Personal Tutor who is available at all times to provide academic and professional guidance. The role of the personal tutor is to be a mentor and support the students with additional guidance and clarifications relating to their course work and research projects.
