Thesis Statement: Silliman University College of Nursing should organize activities to reduce or prevent
the possibilities of Burnout Syndrome in junior and senior nursing students.
Research Questions:
1. What is Burnout Syndrome?
2. What is the difference between stress (mental & physical) and burnout?
3. What are the three factors that characterize Burnout Syndrome?
4. Is there a significant decrease in the performance of SUCN students?
5. Is their stress solely due to nursing-related activities?
6. Do they feel cynical towards their patients?
7. Do they evaluate themselves negatively?
8. Do they still find time to unwind?
9. How do they describe their working environment?
10. How do they define burnout?
11. What can the college do to prevent students from experiencing Burnout Syndrome?
12. Are they aware that this condition exist?
