    research &e &ill +e a+le to give recommendation and suggestion to the ,niversity of %argodha

    cam!us# The criteria for the students are that they should at least ta-e study from university for

    university of %argodha (u)ran&ala cam!us and if it satisfies them# The survey &ill +e conducted

    on university cam!us# The sam!ling techni.ue to +e used is convenience sam!ling to ma-e the

    Abst"a#t

    %tudent satisfaction is an im!ortant .ualitative indicator for higher educational institutes#

    Measures of student satisfaction sho& the -ey factors for meeting usersG needs# This study

    focuses on the etermination of level of %tudent %atisfaction of ,niversity of %argodha

    (u)ran&ala Cam!us2 using factor analysis# Three factors &ere e/tracted" 18 $cademic advising

    istrict2 located at %hah!ur2 &hich catered to the educational needs of the surrounding districts

    shifted from %hah!ur to %argodha# @n the ne& environment2 im+i+ed &ith the ne& s!irit of

    freedom2 this institution made ra!id !rogress2 develo!ing itself into a miniuniversity2 having

    3The study conducted in 'inona %tate ,niversity of $merica and focuses on 11 factors &hichdetermine that there is !ositive correlation &ith the satisfaction of students in the university# The

    results of this study conducted on 11 factors can +e used to assess the !erformance of the

    colleges2 de!artments and !lanning !rocess#

    4 The study &as conducted in $llama @.+al D!en ,niversity &hich e/!lained that the

    satisfaction of the students can +e measured in three dimensions first one is the interaction

    +et&een the instructor and the student2 second is the !erformance of the instructor and the last is

    evaluation of the course# The relia+ility and validity of these dimensions can +e chec-ed through

    This research is conducted on the +asis of selfadministrated .uestionnaire

    consists of 1 .uestions# These .uestions &ere set to test the satisfaction level of students of

    university of %argodha (u)ran&ala cam!us# These are !re!ared &ith the interval scale and

    divided into three categories one is the academic satisfaction2 second is the satisfaction &ith the

    environment of the class and the university and the last is the satisfaction &ith res!ect to

    facilities !rovided +y university# This .uestionnaire &as filled out from a sam!le of 00 students

    of university of %argodha (u)ran&ala cam!us#

    From our analysis it is concluded that these varia+les e/!lained a+ove contri+ute a lot in the

    satisfaction of students# First and foremost factor is the academic factor &hich sho&s higher

    level of satisfaction of students +ecause highly !erforming2 &ell trained and e/!erienced teachers

    -ee! students more satisfied not only &ith their courses +ut also &ith the students and the

    institutions# They can also retain and increase the num+er of students in the university#

    Dther academic factors such as teachers interaction &ith students in and outside of the

    classroom2 .uality education and selection of te/t+oo-s also increase the satisfaction of students#

    Aearning and classroom environment is the second most im!ortant factor# @n the university of

    %argodha (u)ran&ala cam!us mostly students are not satisfied &ith the university environment#

    The last factor of this study is the facilities !rovided +y the university &hich includes trans!ort2

    cafe2 !ar-ing2 !layground2 s!orts gala2 com!uter la+ and li+rary# The res!onse a+out these

    facilities &as totally negative and the students sho&ed dissatisfaction a+out the facilities#

    This study sho&s that there is a !ositive relationshi! +et&een student satisfaction and the factors

    academic2 environment and facilities8# This study also sho&s that 43N students are satisfied2

    3N are neutral and 34N are dissatisfied &ith the university# The findings of this study are onlyim!lemented on ,niversity Df %argodha (u)ran&ala Cam!us#
