    Research on School ViolenceAcross the World

    As this edition of the Journal of School Violence illustrates, creativeinquiry into the challenge of school violence exists across many na-tions. Many of the worlds leading researchers on school violence willcome together in Bordeaux, France, in January 2006 at an internationalconference focused on Violence in Schools, Public Policies and SocialInclusion of Young People.

    The scientific committee for this conference consists of many inter-national scholars, including:
