Research Projects in Healthcare and Well-Being

There are emerging research projects relating to the healthcare and well-being in Information Technology. The main areas include: Neuroscience & Neuro-rehabilation, Medical Simulations, Data Analytics, Image Processing and Machine Vision, Human Behaviour and Human Interactions, and Networking for Healthcare

Some specific topics include the use of Virtual Realities, Augmented Realities, games and simulations for providing solutions in healthcare and rehabilitation. Research in this area includes the use of Natural User Interfaces (NUIs), biomedical interfaces as well as Brain Computer Interfaces (BCIs) to enhance the use of virtual reality for healthcare and well-being. Some of the research projects in healthcare are conducted in collaboration with medical professionals and practitioners, and psychologists.
