1. How can Kevin's management project be his research project? This is an actual background of his career as well as his project. When the acquiring organization moves to Kevin's building he should know that the deal of anxiety of both existing and new staffs. The main cause of the issue is Anxiety which is in terms of fear of losing job, new or current staffs dominate over others are the generic reason which will emerge. As he holds the position of section head and standing in the position where he has to tackle the typical situation that is going to emerges among new and existing staffs that who will lose job and domination among them. So he should manage the process of integration to avoid the disaster. Since the main concern is to integrate the process of two groups. So his final destination is integration and it is one of the module of his master’s research program that academic literature on mergers and acquisitions and on managing change. 2. How can Kevin's contribute to both his company's successful implementation of the acquisition and to understanding mergers and acquisition? As he decided to go back to his research product which is all about integration the main demerit is anxiety. First of all, Kevin understood that there is an anxiety among his staffs which needs to be cleared permanently which will leads his organization's smooth operational success. Since he is section head he can conduct the operational workshop including ground level apart from weekly meeting where 90% of the anxiety and misunderstanding of mergers and acquisition will emerge. By preparing the SWOT analysis of this operations workshop he can solve most of the issues and he can bring all the staffs in to one loop, as the company is required to have management integration. From this process, he can open the knot of lies and identify the two cultures, finding the option of third culture formula which will fit fir the organization and who are ignoring organizational culture which all these are big threat to a mergers and acquisition

3. Are Kevin's political concerns a distraction from his research or are they integral it? Yes, off course that the Kevin's political concern is distraction of his research. It won't help a scientific management and it is applicable for Art management where the group of family owns a business and the members of family run the organization. Political approach will leads stressful environment and the bad culture of the organization, which will not abolish the existing dominated one. Research method of integration should be thru experiment which could be happened with in the practices of staffs, case study of solving the issues, survey of merits and demerits, open meeting with both staffs and analysis. It should not be a political approach, which apparently will lead to distraction.
