Hello and Boozhoo,

My name is Allen Cadreau and I am the founder and CEO ofIndian Energy. As a proud Native American, my goal is to protect the interests of Tribal Nations. For too long we have sacrificed our traditional way of life, our lands, our sovereignty, and our rightful place to prosper.

With the help of Indian Energy’s renewable energy develop-ments, we can begin to overcome some of Indian Country’s past injustices by creating sustainable business solutions for future generations.

Our tribal leaders have long valued education, Elders, and health care. Educating our young people so they may pursue their dreams. Taking care of our Elders, to show our respectfor their sacrifices. Ensuring our families have access toquality health care providers.

Federal funding for these priorities has never been adequate to meet our members’ needs. Many tribes choose to supplement meager funding for these paramount programs with tribal revenue. While federal funds remain stagnant at best or under con-stant threat of reduction, tribal dollars have provided critical support to meet growing needs and try new initiatives.

Utility-scale energy developments are complex, but negotiating the contracts and power-purchase agreements are even more complicated. Without the right experience and direction it’s easy to be misguided. Indian Energy is here to ensure our lands, our business interests and Mother Earth are protected and treated with the respect they deserve.

Indian Energy is committed to the rights and sovereignty of Indian Country. We work hard to create investment opportunities, long-term revenue streams, community development and skilled jobs for our people. Together, we can help protect Mother Earth and provide for our Seventh Generations.

Thank you Baa Maa Pii Minwa Gwab Mem,

BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES

Thanksgiving

We return thanks to our mother, the earth, which sustains us.

We return thanks to the rivers and streams, which supply us with water.

We return thanks to all herbs, which furnish medicines for the cure of our diseases.

We return thanks to the moon and stars, which have given to us their light when the sun was gone.

We return thanks to the sun, that has looked upon the earth with a beneficent eye.

Lastly, we return thanks to the Great Spirit,in Whom is embodied all goodness,

and Who directs all things for the good of Her children.~ Iroquois ~

We must protect the forests for our children, grandchildren and children yet to be born. We must protect the forests for those who can’t speak for themselves such as the birds, animals, fish and trees.

~ Qwatsinas (Hereditary Chief Edward Moody) Nuxalk Nation ~

What is ConcentratingSolar Power (CSP)?CSP uses mirrors to reflect sunlight onto tubes which heats a special fluid. This hot fluid then creates steam which powers traditional steam turbines creating electricity. The primarymarket for CSP is utility scale bulk power.

What is Photovoltaics (PV)?PV gets its name from the process of converting light (photons) into electricity (voltage). The primarymarket for PV is small distributed generation tied directly into the local grid, or where grid access is remote and not available.

I’m asking Congress to eliminate the billions in taxpayer dollars we currently give to oil companies. I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but they’re doing just fine on their own. So instead of subsidizing yesterday’s energy, let’s invest in tomorrow’s. ~ Barack Obama, President of the United States ~
