Take a deadly revenge!

A sudden attack on the Scorpions has changed life of Tyrus Jones forever. He is the last gang

member who survived. Now the only thing that drives him is the urge to revenge. He will

turn the city of New Valley upside down in search for mysterious gang that takes control of

the city bit by bit.

Tyrus will dispose other New Valley's gangs that stand in his way. He will also confront

corrupted policemen, drug dealers and old mates that turned against him. He'll show them

how big mistake it was to leave him alive…

‘District Wars’ is a modern third person action game.

There are many absorbing missions to perform and diversified weapons to smash over 30

different types of the opponents. You can storm the city of New Valley and fight on the

streets or in the zones of Prison, Subway and others.

Take a chance to unveil secrets of the city and gain respect among all gangs.

Installation

When the setup starts, the following window can be seen:

To install the game just follow the instructions given by the installer program.

To start the game, click on the ‘District Wars’ icon. Default location of the game executable is

C:\Teyon\Program Files\District Wars directory. The game adds a folder to menu „Start” and

places icons on the desktop, if desired.

Main Menu

Start – start the game.

Resume Game – continue the game from the mission you ended on.

Options – difficulty, graphics and audio options.

Exit – quit game.

Resume game menu

On this screen there is visible a table where are listed all levels already played together with

amount of collected cash and points of respect. You can start the game from the point

where you finished or you can play a certain level once again.

Choose the level you would like to play and then click OK button.

Options

Difficulty – there are 3 levels of difficulty to choose: easy, normal or hard.

Details – high or low.

Resolution – choose the rendering resolution for the game. In order to use new settings, you

have to restart the game.

Fullscreen – select ‘YES’, if you would like the game to be run in a full screen mode,

otherwise it will be opened in a window. In order to use new settings, you have to restart

the game.

Subtitles – select ‘ON’, if you would like to see the subtitles, otherwise they will be invisible.

Sounds – sounds’ (3d and 2d) volume.

Music – music theme volume.

Continue – continue the game.

Restart – start playing a mission from the beginning.

Options – go to the options menu.

Exit to main menu – go to main menu.

The main character is Tyrus Jones, the last member of Scorpions gang who survived a bloody

attack on his mates. His life is full of secrets and intrigues that are revealed during the game.

On his way to revenge, Tyrus meets few gangs fighting for money and the power in the city

of New Valley. They are:

• BLADES

The Blades are pretty influential in the most of New Valley's districts. They set

themselves up very well. After all, everyone needs some drugs to forget or a gun to

defend himself from the bandits... And so, two-thirds of this city got into Razor, Blades

leader. If a man has a lot, he always wants more, and that's how it was with the Blades.

• LOS MUERTOS

The docks, stinking piece of nowhere. It's the perfect place for someone like Craneo and

his Los Muertos. Every city needs its rats, low level cleaners. That's the role of Los

Muertos in New Valley. They get all leftovers from Scorpions' and Blades' tables. They

can afford small-time grass dealing, some shoplifting, stealing radios from cars - that's all.

Craneo is a coward, he won't put it up against a stronger gang. Unless someone will force

him to do so.

• VIPERS

A mysterious gang . No one really knows what they are up to.

Tyrus will also have to confront corrupted policemen, drug dealers and old mates that

turned against him. In the game there will appear 30 different types of opponents which will

make the game more complicated and interesting.

Locations

The story takes place in 5 different districts of city of New Valley, but there are also other

locations available like a prison, a metro or docks.

The game

• Starting the game

When you choose ‘Start game’ or ‘Resume game’ from the main menu, the game starts

and you are told a short mission briefing in order to help you to understand a task and to

feel the climate of the game.

• Statistics

After each level you will be able to see a table with your statistics which contains the

following parameters:

- cash collected on the map

- shots fired

- accuracy of aiming

- headshots

- melee kills – number of killed opponents with a use of a melee weapon

- gun downs – number of killed opponents with a use of a gun

- total kills – number of all killed opponents

- respect – see ‘points of respect’ described below.

• Points of respect

After each level you gain points of respect. Depending on the level of difficulty you can

get from 1 to 5 stars. When playing easy mode, you can gather maximum 3 stars, normal

– 4 stars and hard – 5 stars. Amount of stars is influenced by accuracy of aiming, amount

of collected money, number of kills, percent of opponents killed on a map and number of

rivals killed with a use of a melee weapon. When you kill an opponent, you can take his

cash and ammo what allows you to get more respect points at the end of the level.

• The game

In the game you use a third person perspective camera. With a left mouse button it is

possible to make a shot, while with a right mouse button a player is able to zoom.

Moving the mouse lets to aim a weapon at the opponent. Comprehensive list of keys is

placed in the Controls section of this manual. To have good results during the game you

should avoid opponents’ attacks and make accurate shots and assaults. It is also

important to gather items and ammo placed on the maps.
