1. CONTEXT / JUSTI FICATION

Plan is a non-religious, non-political, and non-governmental, child centered developmentorganization. Plan strives to achieve lasting improvements in the quality of life of deprivedchildren in developing countries through a process that unites people across cultures and addsmeaning and value to their lives.

Under the current emergency response, Plan Liberia with support from OFDA, is committed tosupport the renovations of existing structures and constructions of a generator/power house &an incinerator at the vicinity of the eee, located in Jenneh# 3, Bomi County.

Renovations of 1 Staff tent 3-tents for (confirm probable & suspected cases),4-latrines,1-mouge, 1-donning, 1-doffing, 1-laundry, 1-dressing room and the construction of 1Incinerator, 1 Generator/power house: To change the present conditions of thesestructures/facilities and construct an incinerator for burning wasteful substances and a housefor the newly purchased generator and storage facilitate for fuel/gas and lubricant that wouldbe used to provide electricity for light and water supply at the eec. The eee is maintained toreduce and sustain low transmission of Ebola virus within communities.

2. OBJECTIVES AND EXPECTED RESULTS

2.1 Objectives

• To provide safe housing for the generator and storage facility for fuel! gas and lubricants.• To provide a place for the burning of waste from the eee to avoid pollutions.• To change the structures of the present facilities/structures to a durable and suitable

one for comfort.

Plan Liberia is seeking a local Community Base Organizations/ Service Providers as contractors,who have expertise in the renovations of 1 Staff tent, 3-tents for (confirm probable &suspectedcases),4-latrines, 1-mouge, 1-donning, 1-doffing, 1-laundry, 1-dressing roomand the construction of 1 Incinerator, 1 Generator/power house and according to thedrawings and specifications in Jenneh No.3, Bomi County. The drawings, blank BoQ andspecifications will be provided by Plan Liberia.
