Credit Recognition
Students who successfully complete their diploma may be eligible for credit recognition,
depending on the diploma undertaken and the chosen UTS Bachelor of Science degree.

Diploma to Degree Scholarship for Students from South East Asia
This 25% tuition fees scholarship is open to international students from South East Asia who have been admitted to UTS
based on a UTS recognised Diploma qualification from South East Asia, with a minimum GPA of 3.4 out of 4.0 or
equivalent.
Consideration for this scholarship includes the following:
Citizenship of a country in South East Asia and currently live or are based in South East Asia.
Meeting all the admission requirements for the selected UTS undergraduate program.
UTS Science International Diploma to Degree Scholarship for Excellence (Polytechnics in
Singapore)
This scholarship is based on academic merit. Recipients are selected from commencing international students who have
completed an approved pathway Diploma from a Polytechnic in Singapore and are applying for an undergraduate program
at UTS Faculty of Science. Successful applicants will receive up to AUD $5,000 towards their first session tuition fee.

How to apply to UTS Science
To apply for a degree at UTS Science, submit your application form to UTS
International. Credit recognition and scholarship eligibility will be automatically
considered for Polytechnic students from Singapore.
If your qualification is not listed in the table on Page 1, you may still be eligible for advanced standing. Each application will be assessed on an individual basis.
Most programs have March and August intakes, but some programs only have one intake per year. Please check before lodging your application to allow time for admission and Australian student visa processing.
Application deadline: You may apply to UTS at any time. The closing dates for applications for each semester are as follows:
Autumn session (February/March start) – 30 November
Spring session (July start) – 31 May
