Republic of the Philippines Department of the Interior and Local Government BUREAU OF FIRE PROTECTION Region 02 Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Office Villaverde Fire Station Ibung, Villaverde, Nueva Vizcaya Hotline: 0917-532-7582 -oo0oo- VILLAVERDE FIRE STATION (STATION PROFILE, CAPABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES) Following the arrival of the one (1) new 500 litre Jiangte Fire Truck in Villaverde from the Bureau of Fire Protection, Villaverde Fire Station was activated and established on July of 2016. With its first personnel strength of five (5) BFP Personnel, the station now has a total strength of eight (8) personnel headed by SFO3 Lope C Dipanio as the Officer in Charge and SFO2 Florante M Laguit as the Deputy and Chief Admin. Villaverde Fire Station is also the first station in the province of Nueva Vizcaya to have the Typical Fire Station which is part of the modernization program of the Bureau. Currently, Villaverde Fire Station is situated in Baranggay Ibung which is the commercial capital of the municipality. Villaverde Fire Station is providing its service to all nine (9) barangays of the town. To further enhance the capability of the station to respond in different types of emergencies, the Local Government Unit of Villaverde headed by Municipal Mayor Hon. Ronelie U Valtoribio lend one (1) Rescue Ambulance on December 2017. The Memorandum of Agreement regarding the lending of the Rescue Ambulance to the station was signed on October 2018. Villaverde Fire Station also have different EMRS Materials like Spine board, Splints and other medical supplies which was provided by the LGU and MDRRMO. The station also has one (1) SCBA which can be used in responding to fire incidents. Currently, the station has five (5) Fire Safety Inspectors headed by SFO1 Helen Grace C Buen as the Chief FSES. The station also have two (2) official drivers responsible in manning the Jiangte Fire Truck and two (2) official drivers for the Rescue Ambulance. With the arrival of the Rescue Ambulance, BFP Personnel of this station responds to different Vehicular Accidents and Medical Emergencies within the AOR. For the year 2018, Villaverde Fire Station Personnel responded to three (3) fire incidents within the AOR two of which were residential fire. The first incident was in Brgy. Ocapon and another in Brgy. Nagbitin and which was investigated by personnel of this station. BFP Personnel of this station, together with MDRRMO, PNP and other local agencies, also actively been part of operations during Typhoons such as T.S. Ompong on September 2018 and T.S. Rosita on October 2018. Villaverde Fire Station, together with other local agencies, regurarly conducts the Quarterly National Simutaneous Earthquake Drills to different schools and Government Buildings within the AOR. BFP Personnel of this station also actively conduct different trainings such as First Aid, Bandaging, ERT and Fire Fighting Training to students of different schools and other stake holders. Personnel regularly conducts Baraggay Ugnayan through different Baranggay Assemblies. Villaverde Fire Station, with the overwhelming support of the LGU, continues to deliver its services to the people of Villaverde and other places.

VILLAVERDE FIRE STATION

NOVEMBER 27 2018- SFO1 Helen Grace C Buen, C,I&I, conducted investigation

re: a Nov 26 Residential fire at Purok 6, Nagbitin, Villaverde. After the

investigation, and Arson Case was filed against Arnold Dacusin at Regional

Trial Court Bayombong.
