REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS

Republic Day is celebrated every year on 26 January to commemorate the date and moment when the Constitution of India came into effect. Although India attained independence on August 15, 1947 but till 1949 it didn't have a permanent constitution of its own and instead were functioning under the laws enacted and implemented by the British. And after many amendments the Constitution was approved and accepted on November 26, 1949 that came into force in a full-fledged fashion from on 26 January, 1950. Thus, we celebrate 26 january as Republic Day by hoisting the national flag in colourful and exiting ways.

Venue: Pyaram Vijaya bharati Vidya sagar Charitable Trust.(Nadergul) On the account of 65th Republic Day, we the student members of IEEE-WIE of MVSR Engineering College have conducted activity on humanitarian grounds at Pyaram Vijaya bharati Vidya sagar Charitable Trust,On a motive to encourage the children from poor and rural background. A number of events have been conducted for those children. They have showed a great enthusiasm in participating in those events. One of the trust member Mr.Vidhyasagar unfolds the National flag as soon as the National Anthem is played and also address them with republic day speech.

As soon as Mr.vidya sagar unfolds the national flag.

Firstly we started up by saying a few words about the Martys and heros who showed courage and bravery for country’s sake without bothering their own lives.

Tejaswi saying few words about the freedom fighters. Tambola game was conducted to those children as it was new to them they played it with great enthusiasm. A total of 21 members participated among whom Sandeep,Ishwarya,Latha,Bushan,Saikiran got the gifts.The winners were gifted with a note book and pen.

To cherish out their talents a few cultural programs was also conducted like dance nd singing. Total of 4 teams(2 boys, 2 girls) gave their dance performance and the best 2 teams were selected as winners one from boys and one from girls team.They were gifted with note books and pens.

Out of those children a patriotic song was sung by bhagyalakshmi and she was gifted with a notebook and pen.

Next musical chair was conducted to those chidren which was fun filled and to keep those children on high energy levels. A total of 21 members played the game and finally bushan stood as the winner. He

was gifted with a notebook and pen.

After all the events a special lunch was provided to them. They started their lunch by offering some prayer.
