Message from the Chief Executive Officer...As you can see the Sasrapid Reporter has been updated to include more stories about our participants and sports as well as a new layout! Please feel free to let us know what you think of the look!

Another recent change to the organisation has been the changing of our business name from the ‘South Australian Sport and Recreation Association for People with Integration Difficulties’ to ‘Sasrapid’ as many of you already know us by this name.

We have also recently changed our logo to a more modern and dynamic logo. Thank you to Raúl Gárderes who has also designed our new website which features our Sasrapid DVD.

The new Sasrapid Strategic Plan “Growth and Renewal’ has also been launched which includes Marketing, Training, Administra-tion, Membership, Partnerships and Sustainability as Strategic priorities.

Thank you for reading the Sasrapid Reporter, I hope you enjoy it!

New PartnershipSasrapid has recently started a new Partnership with the Port Adelaide Football Club via Power Community Ltd.

The PAFC has already begun assisting Sasrapid by hosting the C6 Netball Presentation Lunch as well as the 30th Birthday Celebrations and 2012 AGM.

As part of the Sasrapid Membership Benefits for 2013, each Member will also recieve 1 x Double Pass to a Port Adelaide home game at AAMI Stadium (excluding the Showdowns). This is an amazing offer to Sasrapid Members (for more information on Sasrapid Membership, please read the article on Page 4).

Barracudas Swim SquadBrad Vella - Project OfficerThe Barracudas Swim Squad Project has concluded its regular training sessions and will be moving to an individualised transition program for current participants.

Brad has recently resigned from the role of Project Officer and will be working for the Department for Education and Child Development in the Swimming & Aquatics Unit as well as becoming an AUSTSWIM Presenter in the near future.

However, Brad will still continue working with Sasrapid in the Rapid Swim Project as a Senior Instructor at numerous locations.

Sasrapid has worked with many organisations to conduct the BSS such as Swimming SA, AUSTSWIM SA Branch, Clovercrest Swimming Club, State Swim Clovercrest, YMCA of SA and our funding body Office for Recreation and Sport. Without their assistance the Barracudas Swim Squad would not have been as successful as it has been over the past three years.

On a personal note, Brad would like to thank all the Sasrapid office staff that he has worked with over the past two years as well as the the participants and families of the Barracudas Swim Squad.

Sasrapid would like to thank all ofthe supporters of the BSS.
