Wax Museum Preparation

Dear Parents,

We are getting ready for our culminating Social Studies project. To prepare for this presentation, your child will need to:

· Find/bring research materials on the Internet, nonfiction books, encyclopedias, biographies, etc.to discover information about their hero

· Write a biography (completed in class)

· Create a poster board/presentation/technology (PowerPoint, iMovie, Poplet, Comic Life)

Costumes are encouraged but not required for the presentation (they may find clothing to dress up like their character as much as possible-example: shawl, hat, dress).

As you help your child find research, please consider the following guidelines:

Information must include:

· Well-developed conclusion
