Sector wise Progress of the Projects taken up by the University for the month of September -2017

A training programme was organized on ''Organic farming practices'' on 08.09.2017. Livestock farmers were motivated and educated about organic livestock farming. This training programme was organized as a part of skill development programme. Thirty two livestock farmers attended the training.

The issue regarding illiteracy of adult, youth and old ones was discussed. For this, the issue will be discussed with District Literacy Officer for establishment of Lok Shiksha Kendra. The request in this respect has been submitted.

The issue was discussed in Co-ordination Committee meeting with PWD officials and were asked to submit the status report of the work so that university can move for further processing.

6 Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agriculture University, Bikaner

Skill development programme:- Krishi vigyan kendra bikaner organized one day skill oriented programme on plant propagation at farmer field for improving skill in the multiplication of improved variety of fruit crops in their respective field.

Swechta hi seva programme:- Krishi vigyan kendra organizing a continuous movement on swechta hi seva in benisar village. KVK scientists, Farmers, Farm Women, rural youth and students are actively participated in this movement. E-initiatives Delivered course material through projection in Smart class room to 9

Assessment of computer training was done in this month.

A special lecture by an expert was conducted for the participants on computer skills.

10 Shri Karan Narendra Agriculture University, Jobner (Jaipur)

One day Skill oriented training programme on "Nutrient management in Modern Dairy" was organize at Atal Sewa Kendra, Idan Ka Bas on 19.09.2017 in which 46 animal keepers (farmers, farmwomen) benefitted.

Participant in Kisan mela and Innovation day on 23.09.2017 at CAZRI, Jodhpur.

E-initiatives Farmers and farm women were registered at m-kisan portal where they are receiving the message related to new agricultural technology on their mobile phones.

11 Jai Narayan Vyas University, Jodhpur

The main aims and objectives of the programme was to enable a large no. of students and youth villagers to take-up industry related skill training that will help them for getting employments better livelihood. A large number of students as well as youth villagers took participation in the programme and benefited.

E-initiatives Two Computer Laboratory were set up as per the commitment. One computer lab established in Govt. Secondary School, Nandra Kalan Village for the students. Another one established at Atal Seva Kendra for the villagers.

E-initiative Two information assistant have been appointed wide order no. 2383 dated 01.09.2016 for series of lectures on E-literacy. Both IA were taking Theory and Practical classes, because of Summer Vacation classes were stopped. IA's will be start classes soon.

To monitor front line demonstration. Review of Smart Board in Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Nevra Road and review of village pond.

To monitor and review front line demonstrations and interaction with farmers about crop conditions and review of village pond. E-initiative Very soon University will start E-learning classes for the farmers on modern agriculture and advance technologies.

17 Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota

Organized a skill development camp in the school with association of RSLDC. In the camp registration process for various training programmes was explained to the students and interested students got them registered.

Nodal officer visited 90 days free Beautician Training Programe in the village being run by Nehru Yuva Kendra, Kota. 35 women who are receiving training in the camp will be inspired to start self employment.

Every house hold has toilet in smart village Dungarjya. On 9th September, 2017 villagers were explained about the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan of Govt. of India during a Swachhta Kalash Yatra. University donated 150 Plants to Gram Panchayat.

23 Govind Guru Tribal University, Banswara

Organized free Health check up camp in the village on 16.09.2017. In the camp treatment of seasonal diseases and eye related problems was done and distributed free medicine to the patients. 250 patients benefited in the camp.

Deepening work of pond was initiated. ADM IVth and OIC Development Jaipur was requested by the university to issue sanction and develop the old pond under MNREGS. As informed by the university, District Administration has refused to provide budget for strengthening of old pond. CEO Zila Parishad is ready to provide sanction for the construction of new pond but not for the old one. Since there is no another site available for pond in the village, problem is being

faced for construction of new pond. Raj Bhawan requested the collector Jaipur for appropriate action on the University’s proposal. ADM IV has directed CEO Zila Parishad for construction of pond, maintenance and plantation of pond as per rules.
