Report on the monitoring of electronic public procurement

In the framework of the project Procurement in Local Level”the public procurement procedures in the municipalities of Berati, Fieri, Himara dhe Saranda, part of this initiative. In order to prepare this report, there were used mainly qualitative methoprovided through the research of the announcements published in tbulletins, research of the Public Procurement Agency website and the information published on the websites of the pilot municipalities.

Some of the findings by the municipalities, for the given period are:

• For the period May-procedures with the e-procurement system

• Himara and Fieri Municipality are the ones with the lowest number of procedures announced for the period January

• Again, these two municipalities are the ones to have the lowest number of awarded contracts. Himara Municipality has awarded only 6 contracts and Fieri Municipality has awarded 9 contracts. Based on the data of the eof awarded contracts is met in Saranda Berati Municipality with 26 awarded ones.

• In the e-procurement platform there are Municipality, meanwhile before those data have been accessible in the system. Also in Saranda Municipality, there are discrepancies in the number of procedures reported in the system with those monitored for the 6 months time period

Some of the findings by the municipalities, for the given period are:

-June 2014 Fieri Municipality has the lowest number of open procurement system (only 2 procedures).
