1. Workshop Summary

This report provides a brief summary of the workshop organized by KERG, SKD of Computer Science and

Engineering Department. KERG organized A Two Day National workshop on “Enterprise Big Data

Analytics” from February 9th to 10th 2015 from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm in the Peacock Hall, C-Block, K L

University. The workshop brought together over 360 participants from different colleges, universities.

The workshop was handled by a team of eminent resource persons from IBM, India. Most of the

participants who attended the workshop were Students, Research Scholars and Faculty. The workshop

provided an interactive atmosphere between the resource persons and the participants.

2. Aim of the Workshop

The aim of the workshop is to enable the participants to operate the Big Data, Automation software on

their own and understand when and what type of program method to use.

To provide knowledge on MNC Process.

To provide hands-on training on the Big Data software.

To acquire expertise in identifying appropriate Big Data tools for

different types of research objectives.

To understand the automation of the application on different platforms.
