General demand – 287 thousand people, including for SPFIID – 108 thousand
people543 establishments of technical and vocational education provide staff training.Expected graduation in 2010-2-14 – 224,6 thousand students from technical and
vocational education establishmentsThe basic technical and vocational education establishments for staff training for
projects of SPFIID and demand for construction of new education establishments were

Main target codes
1) Development of infrastructure and strengthening of MTB of education establishments of technical and vocational education
2 vocational lyceums are under construction at present time:-for 800 students in Astana (in construction field)
-for 360 students in Shayan village of South Kazakhstan region (in agricultural field)
The work for creation of 4 Interregional centers for training and retraining of staff by sectors for 700 places is in the process:
-the construction of Interregional center for oil and gas industry on Atyrau is completed (term of delivery is 2011);
-The construction of Interregional center for fuel and energy industry in Ekibastuz is in the process (term of delivery is 2011);
-The competition for construction of Interregional center for machine building industry in Ust-Kamenigorsk is announced (the start of construction is 2011);
- Construction documents for Interregional center for process industry in Shymkent are developed and submitted to RSE “State expertise” (the starting of
construction is the 1st quarter of 2011)

2) Update of structure and content of educational programs in accordance with demand on labor market and international
standards•- the professional standards for mining and drilling in oil and gas sector by association «KAZENERGY», in tourist’s business by Kazakhstan Tourist’s Association;•- developing of module academic programs in 39 specialties of technical and vocational education as: hotel and restaurant business, master of agricultural industry, construction, cheese maker, cook, radio and tele technician and etc. with international and local experts.
3) Improvement of system of management of technical and vocational education
For target preparation of staff priority sectors of economics- the Republican Council is created for the training and retraining of staff affiliated to
Government of RK;- 16 regional councils for training and retraining of staff;
- 5 sectoral council for training and training of staff (in agricultural, transport, oil and gas, tourist’s, energetic industry).
- 16,8 thousand contracts were concluded between education establishments and enterprises for training of staff, including 41 contracts with newly opened enterprises (for
example: “Taraz metallurgical plant”, “Electrolytic plant” and others, as the results 930 persons were employed).

4) Quality assurance of training of qualified staff for solving tasks of industrialization
-More than 7 thousand engineering and pedagogical employees passed advanced training in new technologies of education, including 1 thousand in interregional centers, 700 IPR in foreign centers.
-1490 teachers and masters of industrial training were educated for technical and vocational education establishments
