Report of the Selection Panel for the participants of the 4 th Training for EYP Trainers The Selection panel, composed of the trainers’ team Maria Manolescu, Boaz Manger and Christian Macht discussed from June 5 th to 14 th the applications received to fill 20 spots for the participants of this year’s T4ET. Applicants The panel received 32 applications from Austria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Macedonia, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, Tunisia, United Kingdom and Ukraine. The trainers’ team was very satisfied with the high quality of applications, as well as the impressive level of experience and implication in EYP of most applicants. Deliberations Before receiving all applications, the panel discussed the criteria on which the selection to be carried out. It was agreed that the most important criteria would be the potential of the applicant and his/her commitment to multiply the effect of his/her participation in T4ET, i.e. hold trainings afterwards. For this, the panel was looking for experienced EYPers who are either active in their NC and likely to organize and hold trainings in that capacity and/or are attending sessions where they take leadership positions. Each trainer individually evaluated every application and then shared his/her proposal for the selection, together with comments.
