IMD 2011 –PAKISTAN OPEN CLIMBING COMPETITION
The Adventure Club – Pakistan has key role in the promotion of Rock / Wall Pakistan and exclusively among the females. It hastalented male and female climbers in past few years. The Club has explored several areas to develop rock climbing routes and regular basis. The Club has also developed first exclusive website on Rock Climbing with information and updates about climbing besides a colorful picture gallery. Pakistan has key role in the promotion of Rock / Wall xclusively among the females. It has produced some of the finest and
male and female climbers in past few years. The Club has explored several areas to develop rock climbing routes and keeps on conducting training courses and practice sessions on regular basis. The Club has also developed first exclusive website on Rock Climbing with information and updates about climbing besides a colorful picture gallery.
Recently three climbers of the Club have represented Pakistan in an International ClimbiEvent held in September 2010, while in 1st. National Climbing Championship

The competition started on Friday as per given schedule, while the finals held on Sunday 11 December, the International Mountain Day. The various categories in competition were Under 13, Under 15, Under 18 and 18+, separately for boys and girls. On Sunday 11 December, the final very healthy atmosphere and nicely decorated climbing arena. The participation and enthusiasm of the spectators was remarkable, as the stadium was full of appreciation and encouraging all the day. After completing the various age categories, the final ceremony started in afternoon at the arrival of the Chief Guest, Mir Shahjahan Khetran, Managing Director dignitaries and the Chief Guest enjoyed watching the final round of boys and girls, senior category i.e. 18+.
