Message from the President“KKU aim to be a World-leading Research University with a

of Research Transformation. KKU has driven several

KKU ranked #101-200 in the world, and ranked #1 in Thailand
for 2019 & 2020 THE (Times Higher Education)

Cannabis Research for
Medicine & Health Care
The research and development of cannabis and hemp
products for medical purposes by Khon Kaen University
was jointly conducted among Faculty of Agriculture.
Faculty of Science Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of
Medicine, and other Faculties; to conduct research and
applications from upstream to downstream research,
which are Breeding & propagation; extraction, formulation, and Clinical trial development for use in the society
KKU Initiatives
Collaboration from researchers from multi-faculties has
been created for promoting the KKU Spiritual Agriculture
and Food Products. Research covers all area from
precision vegetable production, smart layer farm;
sensor/IOT and big data management, biocontrol, food
processing, packaging, media communication, to online platform.
