1. Rod Guide: Corrosion resistant 303 stainless steel isideal for washdown applications. Designed specificallyto reduce sharp edges and corners and provide asmooth transition to the cylinder body eliminating catchpoints for contamination and to allow ease in cleaning.Tapped holes are provided to allow easy mounting ofUSDA approved secondary wiper retainer as an option.

2. Rod Bushing: Material is PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene)for extended life, larger bores (5", 6", 8") utilize an acetalbushing.

3. Rod Wiper: A Urethane rod wiper is standard (hightemperature material is optional) and offers resistanceto a wide variety of washdown chemicals. Larger boresoffer a PTFE rod wiper as standard.

4. Rod Seal: Nitrile rod seal (high temperature material isoptional) is pressure activated and wear compensatingfor long life.

5. Body Seal: Nitrile material is standard (high temperaturematerial is optional).

6. Body: Thick walled 316 stainless steel offers superiorcorrosion resistance and is designed to minimize gapswith the mating end caps where contamination can buildup.

7. Rear Head: Corrosion resistant 303 stainless steel isideal for washdown applications. Designed specificallyto reduce sharp edges and corners and provide asmooth transition to the cylinder body eliminating catchpoints for contamination and to allow ease in cleaning.Optional tapped holes allow for easy mounting of NFPArear pivot or rear clevis mounting brackets

8. Piston Rod: Ground and roller burnished 303 stainlesssteel for maximum corrosion resistance.

9. Piston: Precision machined from aluminum (optionalbearing strip) may also be ordered in stainless steel forinternal corrosion resistance when required.

10. Piston Seals: Nitrile material is standard, high tempera-ture material is optional. Seals are pressure activatedand wear compensating.

11. Lubricant: Food Grade (H1) Grease.
