Appeal to Principal GMC JammuWe were selected in the final selection list vide order No.

AHJ/2014/C-IV 1833-41 dated 14.8.2014 in GMC Associated

Hospital, Jammu under serial No. 35/48568 and 115/454610 in the

merit list respectively. As per the directions we joined under R.No.

6786 dated 19.8.2014 and under R.No. 7100 dated 22.8.2014.

Adjustment order was issued vide 138 AHJ-of 2014 dated

29.9.2014 under which all the candidates were adjusted except us

(both the candidates) without any notice in written form.

They raised objection that we have not mentioned major head

in our treasury receipts but we got a certificate from the concerned

treasury that the amount of Rs. 10 has been deposited under Major

Head 0210-vide R.No. 3638 and 3640 dated 19.2.2013 on

2.9.2014 and deposited under receipt No. 7746 and 7747 on

4.9.2014 for rectification. But sorry to state here since 4.9.2014 to

date we have not been informed about our status.

It is therefore requested to look into the matter sympathetical-

ly and we may please be adjusted at the appropriate places.

needs immediate repairs. This busy road which is used by thou-

sands of people everyday has many ditches. These ditches are very

dangerous while plying over them. The traffic often gets crowded

here due to these pits. It is requested to the authorities to wake up

to this problem and black-top it at the earliest.

Repair Kamla Palace roadWe want to draw the attention of the Jammu Municipal

Commissioner towards the deplorable condition of the link road

(Kamla Palace) connecting Talab Tiloo on one side, and Akhnoor

road on the other side. The road is riddled with pot-holes, and

these holes turn nasty especially when filled with rain water.

During night hours this road is totally dangerous.

Hope the authorities would wake up to this problem at the ear-

liest and save the residents of agony.

towards the increasing number of accidents on main road Bakshi

Nagar. These accidents largely occur due to improper placement

of cement dividers on the road.

The authorities had been requested to look into this important

Maha Govt seeksaerodrome licencefor Shirdi airport

MUMBAI, Feb 7:

The MaharashtraGovernment has soughtapproval from the DirectorateGeneral of Civil Aviation(DGCA) to start flight opera-tions from the under-construc-tion airport at the pilgrimagetown of Shirdi, a senior govern-ment official said.

"Air connectivity to Shirdiwill promote tourism and boostindustrial development inAhmednagar district," PremSingh Meena, Additional ChiefSecretary of the MaharashtraGeneral AdministrationDepartment, said.

"DGCA officials, duringtheir last visit to the airport site,had raised objections on a partof the airport boundary wallwhich was incomplete, andthus, the aerodrome licence wasnot given," he said.

"Work on a 2,500-metreairstrip and the disputed bound-ary wall has been completed,besides other pending works,"he said.

"We have again applied toDGCA for aerodrome licence.We expect to get it within threemonths so that we can start(operation of) non-scheduledflights.

"Within the next one year, aproper Air Traffic Control(ATC) tower would be built sothat scheduled flight servicescan begin from the airport," hesaid.

"The airport is being built byMaharashtra AirportDevelopment CompanyLimited (MADC), and the gov-ernment has set a target to makeit operational by 2017 in viewof Sai Baba's birth centenarycelebrations, scheduled in2018," he said.

"The entire effort of havingan airport at Shirdi is to promotereligious tourism, and the gov-ernment is looking at a hugeconglomeration of tourists fromacross the world. (PTI)
