RepaiR a cRacK in a wall YOU’LL NEED Polycell Crackfiller, wall paint, scraper or palette knife, fine sandpaper, dustpan and brush, wire brush, paintbrush TIP: Use a wire brush to remove flaking paint. Use a brush or dry paintbrush and dustpan to remove dust from the crack. STEP 2 Using a clean scraper or palette knife, spread a little Polycell Crackfiller (it’s ready-mixed) over the crack, applying a little pressure as you slowly move over the crack to fill it. Overfill the crack slightly. Level the excess filler with the scraper or palette knife and leave the filler to dry completely. When completely dry sand the filler with fine sandpaper. Dust the area and paint a base coat over the crack. Leave to dry and paint the entire wall so the colour is uniform. STEP 3 Sony LCD TV R13 999, Game.   • YOULL NEEDCurtain rail, tape measure, pencil, spirit level, cordless drill, 6 mm masonry drill bit, 6 mm wall plugs, screws, ladder (and an extra pair of hands)

    Decide whether the curtain hem will touch the floor or be just off the floor. Measure the curtain length and add the diameter of the rail. On both sides of the window measure and mark this distance from the floor in pencil this is where to mount the rail.

    STEP 1

    STEP 2Make sure the ladder is sturdy. Hold the rail in position and use a spirit level to ensure it is straight an extra pair of hands will help. If necessary adjust and re-mark the position of the screw holes with the pencil on the wall.
