Sir,As per the provision contained in instruction No. 10 of HPSEB Sales l4anual, approval is

hereby accorded in favour of M/s Amba Shakti Ispat Ltd. for sanction of addl. load of 950 kW makinr;

tc.:tal ioad of 3550 kW (Existing 2600 k\^/ +Addl. 950 kW) with total contract demand of 3944

kvA(Existing 2880 kvA+Addl. ross wa1 at 33 kv supply voltage from 132133 kv, Kala Aml,

Sub-station-for expansion of existing unit foi manufacture of TMT Bars, MS Angle & Channel Etc.(Rolling

Mill component of integrated unit on induction furnace & Rolling Mills) at Kala Amb subject to the

compliance of following conditions:-

1. The supply voltage shall be 33 kV from 132/33 Kala Amb Sub-station'2. R.estriciibn on use of industrial load will be applicable during peak load hours from 07.00 PM to 111.00

PM during summer (i.e. from April to octobe4 3nd 06.30 PM to 09.30 PN4 during winJers (i.e. from

Novembei to Marchj or as may be notifiecl by ihe Board from time to time. An undertaking tg abide

by these instructions be obtained from the consumer.3. In case of infringement of the peak load hours restriction/drawl of power in excess of the power

sanctioned during normal/peak load hours the firm will be liable to pay peak load violation charges

and penalty for Jver drawl during normal/peak hours as notified from time to tirne by the board. In

case peak load violation exceeds five times, the connection will be disconnected'

4. The consumer shall submit fresh No Objsction Certificate from Himachal Pradesh Pollution Control

Board to the effect that industry is approved with regards to the stipulations of pollution before

release of connection.5. It should be ensured, before sanction of the load, that the consunler has deposited security (O Rt.

1000/-per kVA on its totat Contract Demand of 3944 kVA with the Sub Divisional OFficer, Elect.

sub Division, H.PSEB, Kala Amb at the time of submission of Application & Agreement Form. The

amount payable towards securiry Deposit shall be in the form of crsh/ Demand Draft (D.D.) drawn in

favour of the concerned Sub-Divisional Officer. The firm may opt to furnish the security in the lorm of

Bank Guarantee in place of cash deposit where the amount payable towards security deposit €xceeds

Rs.5.00 lac and the same shall remain vatid during the period the agreement for supply of energy

remains in force. The security/ Advance consumption deposit amount already deposited by the

consumer be got adjusted against the amount now recoverable

5. Resolution of-Board of Dir6ctors of the firm/Power of Attorney on non-judicial stamp paper duly

attested, authorizing the person to sign the papers/agreements on behalf of applicant along with

attested signatures af the authorized person should also be obtained and verified. A copy of the same

be kept in the consumer file.7. During winter months i.e. from November to March, when HP is not self sufficient in power, the

release of power will depend upon its availability and HPSEB reserves the right to impose any

restrictiens.8. The cost of the whole or part of the service line/equipment paid by the consumer and maintained by

the HPSEB, shall remain the property of HPSEB and Board shall have the right to make use of the

service line/equipment for extending power supply to other consume(s) in the vicinity or for any

other purpose.9. The consumer will have to build up the load to the extent of load sanctioned /contract demand within

a period of six months from the date of connection, failing which or in the event of any pait of the

load being disconnected later, the application will be deemed to have been duly modified for the load

actually ionnected at the time of expiry of the said period. This will be further subject td the

instruciions contained in Sales Circular No.157/91 dated 20.07.1991 circulated vide letter

No.HPSEB/CE :Com m. 17'U 97-4461'4860 dated 20.7 9 1.

10. The connection be released after the consumer has installed shunt capacitors/static VAR

compensators of adequate rating as sPecified by the Board in all inductive/arc furnace loads. clause

VI of A&A form be modified suiiably in accordance with the provisions contained in tariff Fresently in

vogud and an undertaking to abide by the same may be obtained from the consumer'

11. Reievant conditions applicable in the instant case as per the instruction No. 10(a), Note IV of Sales

Manual and circulated vide sales circular No. 153/90 dated 6.10.90 and further amended vide sales

circular no. 169/92 dated 1.5.92 may be suitably specified while conveying load sanction.

instruction No.1(b) of HPSEB Sales lulanual.

15. The metering and.billing of consumeis provided connecl.ion on dedicated feeders shall be done at Grid

sUbstation from where the power sUpply emanates anri for other consumers, it will be in consumers

premises.16. The cost of 33 kv dedicated feeder along with bay and associated equipment ai both ends, as the

case may be, will have to be borne by the firm. The cfst of all these components will be intimated to

them by the Superintending Engineer Operation Circle, HPSEB, Nahan/ the Cltief Engineer

operation, South, H PSEB, Shimla.17. The consumer shall deposit cost towards Expendltu'e for SuPply of Electricity as per HPEITC

Regulations bearing no.419 for which an underi,;king to pay the amount as and whendemanded by thi eoard as Per HPERC Regrrations is to be given by the firm duly

authenticatpd by Class -I Executive Magistrate, before sanction of the load. The advar'lce cost

share already deposited shall be adjusted against this amount. The format of undertaking is also

enclosed.18. (a)The firm shall, within 3 months of the release oi c,:rrnection, get the measurements of harmonic

voliage and supply waveform done thro'some inc':endent agency to be specified by the Board

failing which the Board shall get the measuremer,i; done at their expense in the next 3 rnonths

and if these measurements do not conform to It. .E siandard 519-1992 electric connection to the

consumer shall be disconnected without any notice(b) If the Board has reasons to believe any time or trmes after the connection is released that the

consumer is inducing any harmonic vollage and cjrsrcning ihe suppiy waveiori-rl ileyond the

prescribed limits, it shall get the measurenreni(s) oone from some independent agency(s) at the

cost and axpense of consumer and if they are ft:und beyond the specitied limits, the connectiiln

shall be disconnected without any notice.19. The Board reserves the right to impose any restri(:t ons dependinE upon the loading ionditions of

the feeding substation and availability of power as may deem fit to regulate the supply in the nrost

eFficient manner.20. All other codal formalities may be completed befcre release of connectjon. One copy of the

document be sent to this office for reference and reccrd aher sanction of load.

21. The firnl will have to deposit processing fee 16) l'.i. 2,5/- per kVA for changed quantum of Conlra'lDenand befcre sanction of load.
