You can spy on other groups.You should find out key facts about their sources from listening to their discussions and spying on their research sheets.Use these to work out which facts about your own source are advantages and disadvantages.Take a pen and paper to write things down.

Head researcher

You will oversee the research. Sources of information include the research

sheet, text books and teachers.

Research sheet Contains facts on your source and questions to

think about. Sort the facts into advantages / disadvantages. Include the advantages in your presentation. Prepare to comment on the disadvantages.

Mind map creator

You will be in charge of the mind map.This is really important for organizing your group’s ideas.Use the research sheet to fill in the branches.Underline or circle advantages in green, disadvantages in red, and neutral facts in orange.

Artistic director

You will create the poster for the presentation.Use the mind map to work out what to include.Describe how your source works and the main advantages of using your source to generate electricity.Make the writing large enough to be seen from the back of the room during your presentation.Leave some room for pictures.
