“Studen Kladenets” HPP is the second power stage of Arda Cascade. The plant has been in operation since 1958. During the period of 2006 – 2009 Risk Engineering carried out extension of the HPP by two new turbine installation.

External walls up to elevation +6,00 are reinforced concrete walls with thickness of 50 cm and were poured at once.

Reinforced concrete columns were poured at once up to elevation +11,63 as well.

Steel penstock was concreted by using of self compacting concrete mixture. Drill injection works were performed - contact and consolidation injection. Within the rehabilitation of HPP
