REMOVING YOUR PPE: DUSTING DOWN ONCE THE JOBS DONEPPE is worn to protect us, don’t become complacent once you’ve stopped the job. Protect yourself and your colleagues using these 6 steps to remove your PPE safely.

Brush forward around the rim using a soft brush. Brush lightly across the peak, eye & RPE,

followed by brushing down the shoulders.Keeping contaminated PPE on, close eyes & lead

forward, downwind.

With eyes closed lean forward and remove hard hat, encouraging hidden debris to fall away.Close eyes and work down the body.

Inspect equipment before putting back on.

Keeping eyes closed, lean forward and remove eye protection, again encouraging

debris to fall away.
