Summer 2021 Remote Faculty Workshops. Contact [email protected].

Throughout 2021, Teaching and Learning is offering workshops remotely, using Zoom as a platform to connect and learn. Part-time faculty with current academic contracts will receive $20/ hour for each hour dedicated to the workshops. You’re welcome to register a second time for a workshop to enhance your learning; however, part-time faculty will not be paid for attending again. Workshops are delivered on a set schedule, indicated under each series outlined in the table of contents below. Offerings are advertised on the Teaching and Learning website under the Teaching and Learning Workshop on Emerging Trends Schedule dropdown menu.

After registering for a workshop, you will receive an email from your facilitator at least two days prior with materials and a Zoom link. You will then receive a calendar invite the day of the workshop, which you will use to access and participate in the session. If you have any questions about using Zoom for workshops, or have not received a Zoom link for a workshop in which you’ve registered, please contact [email protected].

Are you new to teaching at Conestoga?

As you start teaching, please be sure to attend the four mandatory courses, part of the Teaching at Conestoga micro-credential offered by Continuing Education. Please check the website for upcoming dates and times.
