learning Sometimes you just got
to sit back and relax on that couch
you made!
“K” is for kite! K was the letter of
the week in preschool and dia-
mond was the shape! It was a
twofer week!

and Rylin Zimmerman for making it

Cheer Dance
This month Coach Jenni has nomi-nated Reagan Clevenger from Dy-namic's Pre-Ballet class as the danc-er of the month. Reagan is in kin-dergarten, and she is in both gym-nastics and dance at Dynamic. Ms. Jenni selected Reagan for this recognition because Reagan is such a strong leader in her ballet class. She is growing in her technique eve-ry week, and she is always reaching out to help other dancers in the class, as well. Reagan says her fa-vorite things to do in ballet class are
"leaps" (grand jetes) and "kicks" (grand battements); out side of dance class she loves doing cartwheels and art activities in school. Congratulations on your hard work, Reagan!
This May things have gotten
very busy in the dance studios:
Welcome dance students from
Ikonic Dance Academy! We are
excited to have you here in our
facility as you finish out your
season, and we are looking for-
ward to our joint recital on June 10th at the Bing Theatre
downtown. Recital packets with more details will be
available and going out soon, so stay tuned!
All dancers interested in being a part of Dynamic's
dance team program, FORCE, placement tryouts will
be this June. Team dance, which provides multiple
competitive dates and performance opportunities
throughout the year, is available to all ages. See the
office for more details!
For everyone interested in joining Dynamic's All Star
Cheer teams, Cheer Camp and Tryouts are held in
June during the week after show. Athletes ages 7-18
are eligible to compete! Stop by the office for more
information on Cheer Camp and to pick up an All
Star Team information packet for the 2018-2019
year.
Both Rec Cheer and Team
Cheer are hard at work prepar-
ing for the Jr. Lilac Parade and
the End of the Year Show. The
Jr. Lilac Parade is Saturday,
May 12 in downtown Spokane
starting at Washington street
and continuing along the Main and Riverside blocks along
the park. As they "march" in the parade, Rec Cheer, Team
Cheer, and some of Dynamic's Team Gymnasts will be
competing with other
clubs to the theme of "Turn
Up for Hoedown" doing
chants, stunts, tumbling and
dancing. The parade starts
at 10am, so come cheer on
Dynamic's athletes as they
perform!
Dynamic's Competition Team Cheerleaders attended their
final competition, GSSA's Northwest Classic, on April 14th
in Portland, OR. Both teams ended on a strong note receiv-
ing the highest scores yet of the season! Coach Jenni could-
n't be more proud of them for their dedication and hard-
work this season.
Congrats teams Heat
and Explosion for
truly "Catching Fire"
this season. Way to
show other teams
that we can be Small
But Fierce!
