Year 4/5/6 During Term 3 Class 4/5/6 has been completing some really high quality work. This week we completed our Peace Poster to enter into the Lion’s competition. Here are some examples of the entrants. We also read the book ‘The Lost Thing’ by Shaun Tan and watched the short movie. The Lost Thing has a really good message about making sure that everyone has a place in this world and that we all have unique differences that make us special. If we see someone that doesn’t feel like they fit in or they are sad we need to make sure they feel like they belong. By Lilly Pacey Year 5

4/5/6 Class Dioramas The 4/5/6 class had to create a diorama that involved space and hand it in to school to get marked on, this week everyone handed them in. Some students brought in some outstanding dioramas and they worked very hard on them too. Lots of different dioramas came in and Mrs.C was so impressed to see all the great effort the students put into their dioramas. Some students did magnetic fields, how a solar eclipse happens, planets in the solar system, gravity, how the Earth orbits the sun, differences between planets and sun and star comparisons. Well done everyone! Awesome work! By Lilly Pacey

Year 6 Shirts Today the year 6 students received their t-shirts at a special morning assembly. They look great! We would like to say a special thanks to Mel Daly for all of her effort in making these shirts possible. We would also like to thank Mrs C for coordinating the shirts and to Peter Cooper for designing the print on the back. By Freya Lamont
Kinder Kimochis Creations Thanks to Bu Deb & Mel, Kinder have been engaged in the Kimochis program learning real-life skills, such as communication, self-management, problem-solving and resilience using Kimochis character dolls. This week they were introduced to Lovey Dove…ask your children what they learned! Lovey Dove sentences I love Lovey Dove because she is calm, she is cuddly, she is healthy. By Tegan Lovey Dove can always use a whistle to stop her friends being crazy. By Urukhai
