Kid friendly Nativity set

Wrapping Paper

Scissors

Tape

Bible

Activity Prep: Wrap the pieces of your nativity and hide them around

your house.

When you’re ready to begin, set out the empty stable and invite your

kids to gather together for storytime. First read the birth of Jesus from

your Bible in Luke 2 (or favorite Children’s Illustrated retelling of the Bible).

After reading the Nativity story, tell your kids that their mission is to

find the pieces of the nativity and fill the stable.

As they find the pieces they can unwrap them and talk about who they

found and what their unique role is in the story.

After all the pieces have been found, retell the story together.

At the end, thank God for sending Jesus to rescue us and be our Savior.

He is our greatest gift!
