Who is PPI?• Company formed by two ex-Tokheim managers in September 2002
• Originally formed to offer rebuilt parts for Tokheim dispensers, concept grew to include other manufacturers as well. Many parts are tooled and built as new
• Acquired DurEquip in May 2006
• Completed construction of a 13,000 s.f. building specifically designed for remanufacturing dispensers and moved production from Minnesota to Fort Wayne in January 2008; new Minnesota sales office opens
• Dispenser Graphics business grows quickly and moves into its own 12,000 s.f. building in March 2011
What does PPI do?• Rebuilds almost any electronic or mechanical part associated with most brand and
models of dispensers
• Produces graphic overlays as OEM Equivalent replacement parts to assist in rebranding for almost all brands
• Supplies exterior trim and valances for almost all dispenser types
• Buys used dispensers
• Remanufactures entire “island ready” dispensers
PPI “remanufactures” dispensers, not recycle them!
Here ‘s what we do to every dispenser:1. Completely disassemble the gas pump / dispenser and inspect or replace frame components as required2. Paint the gas pump / dispenser frame and interior with rust-inhibitor paint. 3. Bring all of the internal wiring to OEM specs. 4. Install new reset switches and springs. 5. Install new o-rings, gaskets, and seals, including both fluid-handling items and trim items. 6. Rebuild the mechanical computers, regardless of their apparent condition. 7. Rebuild meters, regardless of their apparent condition. 8. Install new filters. 9. Test pulsers and rebuild them as necessary. 10. Test all electronic boards and rebuild them as necessary. 11. Replace all plastic display windows. 12. Replace all instructional and total-sale decals. 13. Replace all of the exterior metal and trim with new OEM-quality material, then fit and finish it. 14. Test the gas pump / dispenser by actually pumping product at low and high flow rates15. Check meter calibration ranges to ensure that the gas pump / dispenser is ready for island setup. 16. Conduct controlled high-pressure fluid and air tests to ensure that there are no leaks. 17. Conduct a quality-control inspection upon completion of the remanufacturing process18. Securely wrap and palletize the gas pump / dispenser unit for safe shipment.
