A magna cum laude Millsaps College graduate, he received his medical degree at University of MS Medical Center, completed his residency at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas and was named Chief Fellow while completing his Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He maintains close personal ties with his former professors and colleagues at Baylor with frequent visits to maintain a cutting-edge standard of care.
