    Objectives:

    The purpose of this document is to carry a detailed control of the changes made

    in the different versions and builds (compilations) of the PBX versions, describing bug

    corrections and new features.

    Build 1Date 04/25/2013

    Description:This is the next version of the PBX Software, it includes a series

    of graphic improvements, great internal optimizations and of code for different

    modules for handling the new generation PBX. There are great improvements

    and features that will allow for a better implementation of our solutions in a

    wider spectrum of clients, with unique features in the IP Phone Centrals

    market. The new features are described next:

    Improvements and New features

    1- New and improved graphic interface that allows a easier visualization of

    options in general in all the PBX and better performance of loading and

    refreshing screens, also including support iOS (apple) and Android

    browsers.

    2- IMPROVED: Monitor module completely redesigned, it now works from

    any device be it a computer or mobile device (Smartphone or tablet), with

    any browser.

    3- IMPROVED: USERS ADMINITRATION module completely redesigned, it

    now works from any device be it a computer or mobile device

    (Smartphone or tablet), with any browser. It also now provides the

    possibility of providing access to the PBX console, so that advanced users

    or programmers may establish connection with third party modules in a

    easier way.

    4- NEW: ALERTS Module, with which automated calls may be made o mails

    may be sent from the PBX when certain conditions exist, like unauthorized

    calls during afterhours, to forbidden destinations, connection instability,

    etc.

    5- NEW: Option of Pricing calls from the CDR. With this option you may now

    allocate a Price/Cost to the calls made through the different trunks. This

    way you may have a better control of the costs of outgoing calls.

    6- NEW: Support for analog extensions that use FXS ports.

    7- IMPROVED: More flexible editing options of the VoIP trunks when they

    are been occupied by different functions of the PBX.

    8- NEW: Option to disable Trunks and Extensions without having to delete

    them or change internal data.

    9- NEW: Integrated Module (module #3) Of outgoing calls, Groupers and

    extensions. Which allows easier visualization of the behavior of outgoing

    calls and reduces additional browsing for PBX configurations.

    10- NEW: Handling of outgoing calls by time intervals. With this feature you

    may enable or disable calls according to what time it is of the day or

    certain special dates, for specific users or all users.

    11- NEW: Outgoing call restrictions with password. With this you will be able

    to place a password per user/extension that may be applied only for

    certain destinations (outgoing calls) of that extension or for all destinations

    of it (Outgoing call group).

    12- NEW: Handling of simultaneous call limit per extension.

    13- NEW: Ability to limit the maximum time of a call per destination (outgoing

    calling rules).

    14- IMPROVED: Incoming call rules Module with graphic options of schedule

    selection, this makes it easier to configure different schedules per trunks

    making it more visual and intuitive.

    15- NEW: Provisioning Module, this enables detection and automatedconfiguration of phones in the network (only models of Grandstream

    trademark), saving lots of time and effort in the process of configuring

    phones for the most important changes that you need to make or for initial

    configuration.

    16- NEW: DISA Option in the voice Menu. This option will allow for someone

    that calls to the PBX from outside may get a dial tone to make calls from

    the PBX, this feature may be restricted with a password for more security.

    17- NEW: Capability of deleting voice messages of the extensions from the

    Voice Messages module.

    18- NEW: Support for dynamic DNS accounts from the DYN provider.

    19- NEW: Capability of connecting remote extensions even if the PBX is is

    behind a NAT/Firewall (relies on further configuration in your network

    Router/Firewall)

    20- NEW: Option that allows to disable the call recording for certain

    extensions while the other extensions remain recording.

    21- NEW: Option to completely delete the PBX information without having to

    reinstall the software from scratch, also there is now the option for factory

    reset which will also delete the audio files that have been recorded.

    22- NEW: SECURITY, now calls may have encrypted audio with sRTP,

    through activation of call encryption of each extension. This way all

    audio transmitted will leave protected against any possible

    interception. (relies on the fact that the IP device or IP trunk

    supports use of sRTP).

    23- NEW: Connection latency measurement of the extensions and SIP trunks.

    Date 05/23/2013

    Description: This software compilation contains improvements in processes, features

    and error/bug corrections that are described next:

    1.- CHANGE: Text change on module 4 when there are no VoIP or Digital trunks.

    2.- NEW: In provisioning now exists a option to update the IP addresses of the

    previously discovered phones, to be able to determine if these still hold the original IP or

    if it changed.

    3.- BUG: In the monitor module it didnt used to show each extensions latency, now it

    does.

    4.- BUG: In the monitor module it didnt used to show random active calls, bug was

    corrected.

    5.- CHANGE: In module 4 the order of columns and several texts were changed for a

    better understanding of setting up of incoming call rules and more ergonomic.

    6.- BUG: In module 3 extensions section, if there was a extension in the provisioning

    module and it was modified, even after saying "YES" to apply changes to the phone, it

    would not happen. Now the process is executed and a extension that is assigned to a

    phone is modified in the provisioning module, then the process is transmitted to thephone.

    7.- BUG: A provisioning message was displayed in Spanish even if the selected

    language was English. This was corrected.

    8.- IMPROVMENT: Spaces and scroll were improved in module 3 extension section, so

    the save and cancel buttons can be seen in any resolution.

    9.- BUG: In provisioning when a phone was deleted with a assigned extension, the

    extension would not return to the available list immediately, you would have to exit and

    then reload the module so that it would be reflected on the list. This bug was fixed and

    is now displayed right away in the list.

    10- NEW: Message of incoming/outgoing rules that are duplicated.

    11.- IMPROVEMENT: the active call timer was improved in the monitor module.

    12.- IMPROVEMENT: The colors of the incoming and outgoing behaviors didn't coincide

    100%, now the colors are all the same in the buttons.

    13.- IMPROVEMENT: In the monitor module the button positions for first, previous, next

    and last were changed.

    14.- NEW: Now in trunks the latency is displayed for VoIP trunks when the check status

    button is clicked.

    15.- In the VoIP trunks there is now the advanced features option "insecure".

    16.- IMPROVEMENT: The extension combos are now displayed by numerical order and

    not alphabetical order.

    17.- NEW: In VoIP trunks now handles the "canreinvite" option.

    Date 07/19/2013

    Description: This software compilation contains improvements in processes, features

    and error/bug corrections that are described next:

    1.- IMPROVEMENT: In incoming and outgoing rules now in the special schedules you

    may select dates that go from month to month.

    2.- BUG: When a interconnection trunk was deleted it was not reflected in the interface,

    now it does.

    3.- BUG: Error when creating a interconnection trunk, when you would click on the

    button of save new trunk, the trunk that was created would not be reflected in the

    interface, you would have to exit and reload to see it. Now it shows right away.

    4.- BUG: If a users access was deactivated the user could still enter the none allowed

    modules. This was corrected.

    5.- IMPROVEMENT: Now it is allowed that incoming rules of a trunk may be used byoutgoing calls, having as a result that the PBX is a "Gateway" to handle calls from a

    (origin) carrier to any destination.

    6.- BUG: Error when creating a trunk without user or password. Corrected.

    7.- BUG: When deactivating a VoIP trunk the register portion of it was not deactivating.

    Corrected.

    8.- BUG: Visual error while having two VoIP trunks one with user/password

    authentication and the other without. Fixed.

    9.- IMPROVEMENT: The interconnection trunks do not use a register line.

    10.- IMPROVEMENT: Visual adjustments of components in extensions screen.

    11.- BUG: Error while selection special time intervals in outgoing calls. Fixed.

    12.- BUG: when deleting all the rules of a group, you could not delete the last in the

    same process, you would have to exit and reload to do so. Fixed.

    13.- NEW: Now you may apply a limit to reoccurring calls per VoIP trunk, by default this

    parameter is set to 10.

    14.- IMPROVEMENT: Apply changes does not touch the VoIP registry file anymore.

    15.- IMPROVEMENT: Now the parameters by default of PAFB are higher for blocked

    timers.

    16.- IMPROVEMENT: Security improved to avoid attacks of unwanted registrations.

    17.- IMPROVEMENT: Security improvement in the extensions so they cannot make

    calls unless they are registered.

    Date 08/23/2013

    Description: This software compilation contains improvements to process,

    new features and fixes to errors/bugs that are described here:

    1- BUG: SIP trunks. Fixed the error that in certain occasions the registry line

    was not created, with some VoIP providers.

    2- BUG: In the outgoing calls with password, it would continue to ask for

    password on extensions that had previously required one. This behavior

    was fixed so that if no password is defined then it shall not be requested.

    3- BUG: 2 digit extensions where not displayed. Fixed, now they are.

    4- BUG: Provisioning. A bug was fixed that would not allow to define the field

    NTP Server.

    5- BUG: Provisioning. When templates were deleted this would not happen,

    now they do.6- BUG: Extensiones / Provisioning. When saying "Yes" to provision the

    changes made to a extension in the extensions module, these changes

    were not taking place in the phones template. Now they are.

    7- IMPROVEMENT: IVR. Certain long extension o groups names were not

    displayed completely due to size. Visualization has been improved.

    8- IMPROVEMENT: When deleting a outgoing rules group, now the

    extensions that belonged to it are defined as none under rules group.

    Before they were orphaned.

    9- BUG: In incoming rules a visual improvement was done were as in certain

    cases they would be visually blank when a new rule was created. Nowthey are displayed adequately.

    10- BUG: Music on hold of FONAX would be deleted when doing a full

    restore to the pbx. Now it doesn't.

    11- IMPROVEMENT: In general settings it is now possible to NOT define a

    user if you wish it so, before this was mandatory.

    12- BUG: In outgoing calling rules in some cases it was executing first the

    rule before the internal behaviors. Now all internal behaviors and

    extensions have priority before the outgoing rules.

    13- BUG: Date and Time. Visual efect fixed, when saving date and time it

    would stay blank once exiting and entering the module again. They now

    display correctly.

    14- BUG: Pricing. Now the trunk name displayed is the one defined by the

    user. Before it would display the name of the internal code.

    15- IMPROVEMENT: FAX. Fax license is now requested once entering the

    module if there is none active.

    16- BUG: Voice mails. Some settings options displayed in English even

    though the selected language was Spanish. The error was fixed.

    17- BUG: Once deleting certain settings some essential parameters of Pricing

    would be deleted. Now the behavior is adequate.

    18- IMPROVEMENT: Interconnection trunks. Now the SIP ports of origin and

    destination are included, to be able to support interconnections to ports

    other than 5060 and so maintain the highest level of security on the PBX.

    19- BUG: Call Supervision. The texts for whisper and supervisor where

    inverted. Now they have been adjusted.

    20- BUG: The DYNdns service was not functioning correctly. No it worksadequately and with no cuts in the dynamic DNS service.

    21- BUG: Music on hold. The audios uploaded by users where not been

    reproduced. Now they do.

    22- BUG: In Voip trunks the registry chain was not been created correctly in

    random cases. Now it creates in a consistently.

    23- BUG: User management. New users where not gaining access to Fax or

    Alerts modules even when selected the correct permissions. Fixed.

    24- BUG: Provisioning. The time zone was not been affected on the phones.

    Now they do.

    25- IMPROVEMENT: Provisioning. Now it no longer maters what firmwareversion is on the phone, provisioning will behave the same way with any

    version past, present or future.

    26- BUG: Alerts. The alert calls where not been made when it was a none

    office hours case. Now they do.

    27- BUG: Call Parking. The call could not be re-parked from any other

    extension than the original one. Now they may be parked.

    28- BUG: 2 digit extensions where not displayed. Now they are.

    29- IMPROVEMENT: Internal. The context order of the IVR were optimized to

    list in a better manner the extensions in the graphic interface.

    30- NEW: Provisioning. Now you may change the date and time format from

    MM/DD/AAAA to DD/MM/AAAA.

    31- NEW: Provisioning. The dial plan field was added of the grandstream

    phones for a easier initial configuration.

    32- NEW: Provisioning. It was setup so that the option enable call features

    of Grandstream phones would always be by default NO.
