1. Masking all software window(s) during Lock Screen

To bring you higher-level of security, Lock Screen allows a mask over all the window(s) of HD

NVR/CMS to cover up the status quo of your video system.

To set up: Open Configuration Mode | NVR Configuration Page | System Security tabbed page, and select Mask the whole screen when Lock Screen.

2. Exporting video to *.MKV format

Up v2.13.1, video can be exported to *.MKV format, which can be exported several-times faster

compared with the existing formats supported such as *.AVA and *.AVI. Simply select MKV clip

when you are exporting a spooled video.

3. Pushing alarms onto mobile clients

Up v2.13.1, the HD NVR/CMS can push alarms onto mobile clients, and mobile clients are able to

receive and show them to users. On server side, simply enable pushing alarms at the 3rd step of

the Rule Wizard. On client side, just turn on receiving alarms on the Manage NVR alarm screen

of the relevant NVR. (Note: Currently this feature is supported on Android clients only. The

support on iOS clients will be available in April 2018.)

4. ATM networking via NPCII Protocol Converters

Up v2.13.1, one NVR can work with up to eight ATMs or cash registers. The networking with

ATMs relies on a protocol converter named NPCII. Powerful search is also featured to quickly

retrieve a certain transaction among hundreds of thousands of records, simply by a specific string

such as timestamp, ATM number, account number, currency, transaction number, step code,

status, IBAN no., BIC no or so on.

1. To add an ATM, open Configuration Mode, and open the ATM tabbed page on the

Tree Panel, and then click the plus sign button there below.

2. To allow easy reading, the software features a simple filter to transform ATM metadata. Simply access Configuration Mode | ATM Configuration Page | Expression tabbed page to define how your ATM transaction data should look like.

3. To view ATM transaction data, simply open Display Mode and associate an ATM with a viewer.

4. To retrieve a transaction, simply open the Alarm Mode and run a search by a user-defined

condition.

5. Alarm video recycle protection

To answer the requirement of EU standard “UVV-Kassen”, "recycle protection" is implememented

to keep alarm videos from being recycled. As long as you enable such a protection by the Rule

Wizard, your alarm video is safe from being deleted unless the pre-defined "retention" period

expires.

1. To set up:

At the 1st and 2nd steps of the Rule Wizard, set up a relevant alarm on the relevant camera.

At the 3rd step of the Rule Wizard, enable recycle protection and set a time to retend alarm

video.

2. To identify a "recycle-protected" alarm video on Timeline:

When an alarm video is being played in a pattern ( in Display Mode) or GVD Player, the

Timeline marks the recycle-protected part with an additional user-definable color to make it

obvious.

6. Promptly recording all channels on an NVR

This feature is available in Display Mode to promptly record all channels on one NVR for some

time ahead. Same as the existing feature "Manaul-Recording", which is applicable to one single

channel only, how long to record ahead is user-definable. The available options are also the same

with Manual-Recording: 30 seconds, 10 minutes, 30 minutes, and customized.

To run this feature, simply open Display Mode and right-click the NVR node on the Tree

Panel.
