Please join us for the second annual Teen Health Summit. This event is a free program for adolescents 12 -19 years old. The day will be spent covering many health topics including nutrition, physical activity, healthy relationships, puberty, contraception, sexually transmitted diseases and mental health among others. Who Should Attend: The Teen Health Summit is open to males and females aged 12 -19. Morning sessions will be geared for those 13 years old and older. Twelve year olds can attend the summit starting at 11.30 am. Please Complete the Form Below

Healthy Relationships (open to those ages 13+) Learn about the key components of a healthy and happy
relationships
Contraception (open to those ages 13+) During this session, part ic ipants wi l l learn the facts about the current
forms of birth control available including pros and cons of each option
Mood (open to those ages 13+) The teenage years can be quite stressful . This session w i l l review how your
mental health can affect your overall health and tools to get you through the more stressful times.
Sexually transmitted Diseases (open to those ages 13+) Learn the facts about sexual ly transmitted diseases
including how to prevent them Select TWO Afternoon Breakout Sessions
Nutrition (all ages) What real ly is nutr i t ion al l about? A registered diet ic ian w il l review the key component of
nutrition and how to eat for a healthy body.
Healthy Living (all ages) Learning about the cost of l iving, cost of going to the doctor vs emergency room, etc.
Physical Fitness (all ages) It is recommended that adolescent have an hour of physical act ivi t y a day. This
session will explore how to incorporate exercise into your daily routine.
Puberty (for 13 and younger) This session wi l l focus on the changes that occur in the body as your t ransi t ion
from being a child to an adult. This session is specifically for the younger participants.
Bullying – This session will focus on protecting yourself from bullying. The session will focus on cyber bullying, social
media presence and protecting yourself. Disclaimer: By registering for this conference, you agree that the summit organizers shall not be held liable for any injury or loss that may be sustained while participating in this activity. In the event of an emergency that cannot be resolved through first-aid, the participant will be referred to the nearest emergency medical squad or hospital. (911).
