  • New features summaryThis release provides support for iOS 8.2. Tunnel 1.0.3 is required for per app VPN on iOS 8.2 devices.

    The MobileIron Tunnel Version 1.0.3 supports Core starting with Version 7.0, and Standalone Sentry starting with Version 6.0.Company Confidential7

  • Usage notesIAVPN-90: iOS managed apps using per App VPN with Tunnel will always use Tunnel both inisde and outside the corporate network. Safari Domains use per app VPN with Tunnel only when needed.

    IAVPN-133: com.apple. pages fail to use app-layer VPN.

    IAVPN-134: Safari Domains does not trigger per app VPN for domain hostnames greater than three labels.

    IAVPN-135: The device user can disable "Connect On Demand" in the VPN configura-tion on the device.

    IAVPN-136: Warning message is not displayed if the app plugin has not been acti-vated, and user clicks on Safari Domain or managed app.

    IAVPN-137: When using per app VPN, the "Connected To" & "IP Address" VPN status information is not displayed in device settings.

    IAVPN-138: iOS 7 per app VPN does not support UDP protocol.

    VI-583: To access Safari domains using Tunnel, a managed app that uses the Mobile-Iron Tunnel configuration must be installed on the device.

    IAVPN-144: If managed apps are installed before installing the Tunnel app, the man-aged apps cannot establish connection through Tunnel to backend resources. Work-around: Uninstall managed apps and Tunnel. Then, re-install Tunnel. After the Tunnel app is installed, re-install the managed apps. Company Confidential8
