The next three years Rejoice Africa will develop 45 young people. Student leadership devel- opment program (SLDP) The program designed to create understanding and culture of intentional student leadership development program and to change Aleqa (bossy) concept by servant leadership concept in high school and university com- munity. The next three years we plan to equip and create an understanding of intentional student leader’s program and servant leadership culture in 10 schools for 800 students age 14-18 in Addis Ababa region. Short term leadership training program (SLTP) This program focus on creating awareness about intentional personal and leadership devel- opment and motivating young people and stockholders to take action. The next three years part- nering with likeminded institu- tions Rejoice Africa will give short term training for 5,000 emerging young leaders in nine region of Ethiopia and three African coun- tries. Registered Rejoice Africa has been registered and accord-ed legal personality with registry number 4269 on July 09, 2019, as a local organization in accordance with the civil society organiza-tions proclamation NO1113/2019.

Core (Daniel) team The Daniel team of Rejoice Africa is considered the core team of the organization. It is made up of volunteer individuals who are com-mitted to the vision and mission of the organization. Since the estab-lishment of the board, members have been having a regular meet-ing every other month and the Daniel team has been having a fellowship and meeting time every month.

Short term leadership trainings One of the accomplished works we have done during 2019 is to organize four successful leader-ship training sessions. Three of which were done during the summer of 2019, one partnering with a school and one more in association with a leaders get consultancy

The other training our team managed to offer was five-day training for one hundred BCI school students located in Debre Zeit and it was held in September 2019.

The Debre Zeit centerleadershipThe Debre Zeit leadership training session assem-bled 25 young people from July 22 to August 25. All three training sessions included a teaching session, different kinds of group activities and a final project work.

The Beza center leadershipThe Beza center leadership training was held from July 15th to August 31st. twelve young people participated during this time.

Another establishment made within the organization is the execu-tive team. It consists of seven associates that take on tasks and collaborates with other teams and members to share responsibili-ties for the organization’s result.

Rejoice Africa Hub Rejoice Africa has furnished and opened a new office at Kal build-ing next to Ethiopian standards Authority on the road from Bole to megenagna on November 01, 2019. The house was furnished with the help of core team and volunteers. The office has been working since the opening and its working hour is from 9 A.M to 6 P.M. You can come and use any of our services during our office hours. We will be glad to see you there!!

Board member and core team The organization needed working manpower that would serve in different aspects. As the governing body of the organization, a board of seven people was established. During the recruiting process, different criteria were used to choose the board members. These individuals are responsible for overseeing the organization’s activities. They meet periodically to discuss and decide on the affairs of the organization.

We exist to equip and rise up young leaders who are passionate for the transformation of their society in frica.

The summer program had three training centers. The YFC center leadership training started On August 5th and lasted until August 28th. At this center, we were able to train thirty young people successfully.

Servant leadershiptraining Finally, collaborating with Leaders get consultan-cy organization three of our team members had the privilege of giving a servant leadership train-ing for a 10,000 of Addis Ababa public servant from September to November of 2019.

Out of the major tasks we’ve had planned to carry out we have actualized some: Developing a strategic plan, crafting the Rejoice Africa young leaders development curriculum and developing resources like the teamwork manual, student lead-ership development program document , concep-tual framework, etc.
