2017 HP PrintOS, the winner of a 2017 InterTech Technology Award, will be operating at hands-on stations to demonstrate how to optimize print using the web-based and mobile PrintOS apps, including harnessing data from smartphones, the Internet and social media. At a dedicated station, visitors can send their characterized photographs taken on the MomentCam mobile app, and send them for printing as posters, via HP PrintOS Site Flow to the HP Indigo 12000 Digital Press on the show floor.

The applicationAdd high-volume label production to your list of capabilities with applications that output pressure-sensitive, glue-applied, in-mold (IML), and heat transfer labels. Today, product labels not only provide product information but convey brand identity, product quality and can be customized down to a specific individual.

How it’s done• With the HP SmartStreams Labels and Packaging DFE, all your label job prepress can be done

and you can further automate prepress using the optional Esko Automation Engine from any number of sources including SmartStream Designer and web-based ordering systems.

• Workflow parameters and job data is populated automatically and achieved.• HP SmartStream Labels & Packaging Print Server powered by Esko imposes the file and

a color management strategy is chosen.• The imposed and color managed file is sent to the HP Indigo WS6800, 8000, or 20000

Digital Press for printing.• An inline or nearline finisher from ABG or Delta ModTec converts and decorates creating

finished roll labels.
