Policy Details Objective
To ensure smooth and uninterrupted phone connectivity for the faculty members of SNU post working
hours and define the guidelines of entitlement criteria for usage of different communication
media./medium.
Applicability and Scope
This scheme is applicable to all teaching faculty on permanent rolls and would include Assistant
Professors, Associate Professors and Professors or any other member to whom the program has been
extended from time to time based on individual need / Management decision.
Policy Overview
This scheme reimburses the telephone charges/Internet charges for the usage of phone at the
residence of the faculty members as per the rates mentioned below. These charges include those for
telephone usage less long distance personal calls, or the amount as prescribed in the below table,
whichever is less.

Terms & Conditions
• The cost of equipment such as mobile phones, landline phones at residence (for broadband
connection) will be borne by the individual
• All bills pertaining to the mobile/ broadband should be claimed within three (3) months of bill date
after which they will not be considered for reimbursement
The SNU SE Management reserves the right to alter, append or withdraw this policy either in part or
in full based on management’s discretion.
